If you're looking for a good plain seltzer that is strongly carbonated and has lots of bubbles but still has a nice neutral flavor then this is the best in my opinion. It retains a good amount of carbonation even when mixing with other stuff.

According to consumer reports, this brand of carbonated water doesn’t have phthalates. So, that’s enough reason for me to give five stars. As far as taste, I’m not too picky when it comes to seltzer. I don’t drink pop so if it’s not super fizzy, I don’t care.

Despite the other reviews, I actually think the carbonation is great! I normally get the sparkling water at Trader Joe’s, and I think the carbonation for this brand is better. It’s almost like drinking a Diet Coke in terms of carbonation, which is what I like.

Loved the fact Polar's ingredients is simply, water and carbonation, however, there is an odd taste to this brand. Noticed that carbonation is weak, does not have strong carbonation Trader Joes Sparkling Mineral water has. (my go to sparkling water) Polar has reasonable price point but you get what you pay for.

It is difficult to buy Polar Plain Seltzer. Not all Target Stores stock it and those that do are often sold out. So now I check on line and order four to be picked up when I can.

Writing this mostly out of spite of another reviewer. The polar brand is literally over a 100 years old (138 to be exact), it’s still family owned, the water is triple filtered and locally sourced, and they have over 18 flavors. Are there better seltzer’s out there? Probably, but for $3-$4 for a pack of 8-12, I’ll take it. Usually a little cheaper and easier to find then other brands IMO and they make for a perfect mixer.

Not quite as bad as La Croix, but still tastes like perfumey dirty water. I'm willing to bet they don't even filter the water. Truly awful. Do yourself a favor and try a few different brands and you'll realize how bad this one is.
