Hi, This super fun Inflatable Pool Noodle, is indeed an "inflatable" - made of vinyl and can be inflated with a variety of air sources such as an electric pump for a quick, easy inflation. We are sorry you were expecting a foam noodle (?) but the description online seems to be correct. We hope you give this item a chance as it is actually quite big and has great floatation!
