The Red ones need to be checked….

My Fiancée bought two boxes of these and the Grape/orange tastes fine. He ate a red one and he’s been sick for days. So I tasted one because it was the last thing he ate before becoming ill, and they tastes as though It has some sort of chemical product on them. On each and every red one ONLY.

New change or they messed up

My kids eat these summer or winter. For years it’s been their favorite when they’re sick. Well it’s been a long winter here in MI and we’re sick with the flu once again. I popped open a new box and they’re all diluted looking more pale color. They taste a little sour and they definitely taste bitter. The aftertaste is horrible and I’m sick too so I am sure it tastes even worse if I wasn’t so congested. My daughter had a meltdown saying it is hurting her throat and tastes gross which usually THIS is what makes her sore throat feel better. What happened? What did the brand do?! I’m scared now that something is wrong with the ingredients and she’s poisoned now. She only got through half and then we threw it away. I took a few bites of mine and opened a few more and they’re all changed colors and taste. My throat burns more than it did before and my stomach hurts too.

Change made them not as good

You have changed the Ice Pops when you went to 18 in a package. Both the colours and the flavours have changed and not in a good way. The grape isn’t purple and barely tastes like grape and cherry isn’t as red and really doesn’t taste like cherry. The flavours are less intense. Why have you done this? They were really good and I bought them every week. May have to find an alternative.

The flavor of these have changed. These used to be my favorite ones. Especially the grape, the grape doesn’t even taste like grape at all. The cherry taste like cough medicine. The orange just has no flavor

The new recipe for these popsicles is very disappointing. I was always loyal to Popsicle brand as as they were the best flavour (orange, cherry, grape). Now they are only as good as cheap store brand.

New Flavors and Packaging Sucks!!!

Popsicle has lost my business. Too bad because I buy 9+ boxes weekly. I am addicted to them or at least I was. I don’t know what the company did but the Scribblers and “orange/cherry/grape” has lost its flavor completely. I was buying the Scribblers but they started tasting like sour ice. I switched over to the O.C.G and they were amazing. Lots of flavor and firm. I would eat 9 before bed. However, now everything has become inconsistent. The look of the package changes weekly. Sometimes they are wrapped as doubles and sometimes they are singles. Sometimes it’s the rich flavorful recipe and other times it’s a cost cutting sour ice tasting abomination. I never know what I’m getting because everything is so inconsistent. Popsicle now lacks quality, consistency, and flavor. I’m not wasting my money on this cost-cutting guessing game of “did I waste my money at the store tonight or are these the popsicles that I’ve always been getting.” I’m switching to Hagen Dazs. They seem to care about quality control a bit more than popsicle. At least with them I know whatever I’m buying is going to be of high quality, taste good, and be consistent. Do better for your life long customers.

Flavor change has created real problem for Cancer

1 out of 5 stars
Cancer Patient care - 3 months ago
originally posted on popsicle.com
Please put sugar back in popsicles. The artificial sugar taste is awful. Cancer patients need real sugar in popsicles as well as a good taste to help with dehydration. Mostly they need fluids and ice is preferred because their mouths get so sore during treatment. This is a staple for these patients and they now cannot tolerate the reduced calorie favor change. This is real problem.

Dramatic change in the popsicle! Bitter!

What has happened to the popsicle!! I have popsicles a few a day to settle my stomach. There is a dramatic change in the box I just bought today? The logo on the box is not the same. The taste of the popsicles are not the same. The popsicles taste like the popsicle stick, wood, and leaves a bitter taste. Horrible! Disappointed!

A "Grape" Mistake

2 out of 5 stars
NostalgiaPopsicleKid - 3 months ago
originally posted on popsicle.com
I use to love these popsicles as a kid but they've changed the flavors and it's awful now! The grape is their biggest mistake. It's not even purple and it tastes nothing like grape. This honestly feels like betrayal to me. The orange and red are better and still slightly remind me of the popsicles I use to know and love. Two stars—one for nostalgia, and one for the hope they’ll realize their error and fix it.

What Are These Flavors?!

1 out of 5 stars
LucyGoosy - 4 months ago
originally posted on popsicle.com
The new taste of the Cherry, Orange and Grape pops are not at all the same as they originally were. I can't identify what the "grape" tastes like, but it is certainly not the grape we all grew up with. The flavor was so odd, I opened the freezer again to see what I, must had, mistakenly purchased. I will be sticking to the off brand popsicles that are far better tasting and much more reasonably priced.
