Please note: PopSockets bases are engineered to be super sticky and most compatible with smooth, flat surfaces. PopSockets bases will not stick well to silicone, highly textured, and many soft cases on the market. They will not adhere well to iPhone models 11 and up and the Samsung Z3 flip phone models without a suitable case. Not recommended to stick to leather or fabric/textile cases. Our super sticky gel may damage leather cases when trying to reposition or remove the base. The gel might not stick well if glued to iPhones without a suitable case. Not Sticking: If your PopSockets product is no longer sticking, follow the steps below to reactivate the adhesive gel on your PopSockets product: Step 1: Give your PopSockets gel a quick rinse. Step 2: Let it air dry for 10 minutes. Do not leave it out any longer, this will cause the adhesive gel to dry out entirely. Step 3: Stick your PopSockets product back onto your phone case, and let it sit for a few hours before engaging it again. This will ensure a stronghold. Worked OK for a few days, but then the adhesive failed, and the PopSocket fell off my phone, dropping the phone to the ground. I heard they recently changed the adhesive formula, so maybe that's it? Anyway, I like the comfort of the grip being soft, but with an unreliable adhesive, I can't recommend this since attaching the grip to the phone is the #1 most important priority for this to even be usable. I tried switching to another ring grip brand, and its adhesive is already lasting longer (over a week now). I'd suggest to PopSocket to put more resources into a reliable adhesive.

"Jawbreaker gloss" popsocket is NOT glossy at all. Does not come in the pearly "gloss" as you'd expect. Pretty disappointed with this one. I do like the colors otherwise though.

The top broke and would not snap back on. They’ve changed something about how it’s made. Thumbs down. I have to try and get the entire socket off now. It’s on a brand new case which will be ruined if I can’t remove it.

I originally loved my popsockets and I still do! However with the new gel, it makes it incredibly hard to remove and reposition. Before I had no problems removing, re-sticking, and repositioning, but now I can't do that easily. There is a ton of residue that gets left behind and the gel gets messed up I can't restick it. This has happened a few times and it's very frustrating

It broke. I like the shape of these phone grips and I had a similar kind that worked amazing, but this one broke and became useless within a month or two. Expensive for what it is. Now I have to figure out how to unstick it from my phone and buy something else. It’s hard to find a good phone grip.

I was really excited to buy this and put it on my phone when I saw it at Target. It was easy to put on my phone and I enjoyed it while it lasted. However, I dropped my phone a few weeks after putting it on and it completely broke, the entire top portion fell off.

They also will not adhere as well to iPhone 11 and up models or the Samsung Z3 flip phone models without a suitable case. Not recommended to stick to leather cases. Our super sticky gel may damage leather cases when trying to reposition or remove the base. The gel does not stick "as well" with naked iPhones. While it does stick adequately to a naked base model (and sometimes to Pro/Pro Max depending on circumstances), it will not stick "as well" as if you used a suitable case. Not Sticking: If your PopSockets product is no longer sticking, follow the steps below to reactivate the adhesive gel on your PopSockets product. Step 1: Give your PopSockets gel a quick rinse. These are garbage now. They used to have a very sticky, clear adhesive that was actually able to be removed and moved around. Now it’s this cheap black foam that’s impossible to remove.
