Q: Is this stove top safe? I make morrocan tea and it needs to boil in the kettle for a while in the stove top

A: No, this is NOT stove top safe.
submitted byGrammy - 9 years agoA: This is a teaPOT not a tea KETTLE. With teapots you heat the water using a tea kettle, microwave or some other method. You put the hot water and then steep the tea bag or loose tea in the water for however long. Definitely do not put on the stove and personally, I wouldn't put it in the microwave either.
submitted byAH - 8 years agoA: I would doubt you can heat the teapot on the stovetop. I use the microwave--I put water and the teabag in the pot and put the pot in the microwave for 7 minutes.

Q: Does the lid fit securely on the pot or is it loose? Just took a hot tea bath because lid did not stay in place while pouring. Elderly lady, cannot always hold things just right. Thanks.

Q: For the manufacturing- I have bought porcelain plates before and decorated with a marker for porcelain dishes. You are to bake it at low temp so the design sets in- can this be baked at 150 degree?

I love this tea pot. It holds several cups of tea and is a rather thick or strong ceramic. It sits flat on the table, which keeps is from tipping over. Being white is matches all types of place settings.

I like it a lot. It’s just what I need. I use my electric kettle to boil water, scald the little teapot then steep the tea. I have the milk & sugar and teapot by me while I work. Porcelain doesn’t hold heat a long time (and I knew that) but i usually drink the 4-6 cups while it’s still warm. The bad reviews are from people who tried to heat it on the stove. That’s not what this is for.

I love this teapot. It fits about a little more than 1.0L of water and so I’m able to get a good amount of tea from this. It’s basic but this blends in with my teacup set. I am so grateful they had this at target!

I just bought a replacement of this teapot after having the same one for years. Some of the finish scratches off in the dishwasher, leaving behind gray marks. Still held up pretty well from nearly daily use and was happy to get the same one as a replacement.

I have had this teapot for about four years. I am about to order my second one---something fell out of a cupboard and landed on my first. It is solid and serviceable, reasonably easy to clean and appealing to look at. I purchased it originally to use with a ceramic cone pour- over for coffee. It worked wonderfully. I look forward to my new one arriving. Recommended.

This is a convenient kettle. I love that you can microwave it. It's great for quick cups of tea, hot cocoa, pour over coffee etc. Easy to clean in dishwasher. The handle doesnt get hot.
