I went to a local home improvement store and purchased a bracket to install in the mindow for the unit to have some additional support. Im in South Texas and it gets HOT. My AC struggles to keep this old house cool. The Midea smart cool unit has been an excellent addition to my house. It keeps the house cool and keeps my electric bill down. I love that this can be operated via Alexa or the app. So I can adjust the settings while I'm away. There is a dehumidifier option, 2 fan speeds, a timer and a sleep mode. The filer is washable as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This AC has everything! Its extremely quite and cools perfectly! It's really easy to install in any standard window. I love that I could connect it to my Alexa and use the voice control to cut it off and on. One of my favorite features is the 24 hr timer. I set it in the morning when I leave and before I return my room is really nice and cool. My room is slightly bigger than 550 sq. ft. and it cools it great! I connected it to my IOS system and its really simple to do. It will also work with and Android. I am really really enjoying this high tech air conditioner. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been having this Midea SmartCool Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi and Voice Control for a few weeks now. It is exactly what I needed and more. The 12,000 btu unit keeps our shed very cool. It doesn't take long to cool the entire room and he unit is pretty quiet for being a window unit. The extra features are what I love the most. The fact that I can control it from my phone or Alexa is so awesome!! Now we don't have to sit in a hot room waiting for the a/c to cool it off. We turn the unit on with either the phone or Alexa and it's nice and cool as soon as we walk in.

My family moved into a house six moths ago and the house had and old swamp cooler that wasnt keep cleaned nor was it maintained. We has maintainence pull it out and we but this unit in. this keeps my living room cool on hot days. It was easy to set up. The only issue is that the setting up the wifi and voice control is difficult. Other that that its an awesome product.

With 12,000 BTU it kept my 1000 square feet room super cool and the air circulated well throughout the room. I kept my bedroom doors open, and it also kept those rooms nice and cool. The AC was also very quiet, so I am super happy about that.

I love the digital display for temp control, the remote for easy use. It is also Smartphone compatible, is Energy Star and EnergySave which helps lower your energy bill. It is quite easy to use.

My central ac unit is to small for the house I rent so I figured this would help cool off the hotter parts of the house. Needless to say it almost cools the entire house. I love how I can connect to my phone. And the digital display. The economy feature is fantastic. There are just too many other features to list. Definitely two thumbs up!

Installation of the unit was basic and didn't take too long. I set it up to my smartphone without any issues and got it all connected right away. It really looks nice in my home and isn't an eyesore like my last one. Has a nice sized digital display that is easy to read. The remote is convenient and has a good reach so I can control it from pretty far away. Cools off my entire living room just fine. I am loving how it is smart controlled too, fits right into my lifestyle.

The unit is a 3-in-1 that cools your room, is a dehumidifier, and can be used to ventilate a room with the fans. There is a timer feature that can be used to turn the air conditioner on at a particular time. The unit can be run using the enclosed remote control. Additionally, a major bonus to this unit is it is compatible with your smart phone (both android and iPhone) which allows you to control the unit from virtually anywhere. It is extremely easy to load on your phone, you scan the QR code on the side of the unit or the included 'user manual of smart kit' and within moments it is loaded on your phone. There are so many other wonder features about this unit also such as a sleep mode, an energy saver mode, and an auto feature that will run the unit on AC or fan depending on the rooms need. The key pad has an indicator that notifies you when the filter needs cleaning. The air conditioner cools up to 550 sq. feet which is great for our open living room space. The only con I could see with this unit for some people (though it was not for us) would be the weight as it is on the heavier side. We love this unit and could not be more pleased with how it works.

It cools the room really fast and easy and I love that I don't have to get up to change the temp or speed. I can either use the remote or the voice control option. It was very easy to install and get set up to my WiFi.

I knew it was voice activated and could be connected to WiFi but I didn't know you could pair with Google Home. I have my lights and everything controlled with google home so it was nice to add the ac on it to. This is a 12,000 btu ac and it covers a large area. We have a cabin on a lake where we stay on the weekends, that I was able to install it at. I can now power on the AC before I get to the cabin and go in to a nice cool home. Oh that means a lot to not have to go in to a hot house! My cabin isn't huge and it has an open loft and bathroom but it covers the whole area. The ac is pretty powerful to. It doesn't take long at all to cool the home. As far as looks goes, it's nice and modern looking. I've seen no leaks so far and or anything freezing on the inside. Hasn't shorted out or anything along those line. It's been great so far. The app is very easy to navigate and set up was easy. Comes with a remote, I probably will control it through the app or Google Home, but it's a great benefit if your not in to smart phones. All in all I'm more then please. The ac is made very very well. High quality make for sure and it's built to last. I'd absolutely recommend.
