Q: I love this diffuser. Got it on clearance and it turned out to be one of those things I never knew I needed until I had it. Comes in handy for so many instances! What size are the pads?

Q: Bought on clearance $8, unpackaged missing parts. No oil pads included. real challenge is part that holds the oil pad in place missing. as is only a small circular aluminum looking fan with 3 blades that spin when you turn on. suggestions? return it

A: Hello, Brittany! There is no water needed for this diffuser! All you have to do is add 3-5 drops of essential oil to the oil pad before inserting it into the diffuser. Hope this helps!

The strength of this fan based diffuser is controlled by the amount of oil applied to the pad. If you want to weaken the fragrance, just use less drops than the 3-5 noted in the instructions. This works well if you use high end oils and are wanting it for a small space. I use it in my office, so it's perfect for adding a subtle scent. I also wanted to use it for travel but it didn't work well for average sized hotel rooms. The product itself is aesthetically pleasing but the design is awkward. I'm glad I've saved the instructions bc I can never remember how to put it back together correctly after changing the oil pad.

I bought one for our bathroom and didn’t notice any difference. I took them apart and realized that the fan was running but the part onto which we pour oil was on the other side not facing the fan. Poor design. No wonder it didn’t work.

So, after kinda soaking the pad we couldn’t smell much. I am going to try what someone else said and use a pure oil not a blend. But I got 3 of them for cheap and I wish I had paid attention to the reviews more lol

Okay. Okay. This product is very weird. This diffuser works BUT! BUT!!!! You gotta use a strong pure essential oil. Don't use essential oil blends, they're too muted and the diffuser spits out absolutely no scent with those. I tried a citrus lavender oil blend at first and I could smell absolutely nothing when I turned it on, I was ready to write this thing off as a hoax and get my money back. But, later, I used just a pure lemon essential oil and IT ACTUALLY STARTED WORKING, like the scent was actually diffusing the lemon scent and I would smell it around my desk. So yeah, it works but, you gotta play with the oils.

No no not ever buying anything else from target without reading reviews. I see that it was on sale, not worth 11 bucks, it’s terrible my son puts it to his nose and he likes just smelling it straight to his nostrils. I can smell it only if I’m holding it to to my face.......

I have tried several diffusers that can overwhelm a space. This compact design issues a subtle scent that is just enough for my office space and is unassuming on my desk. And it is perfect for travel! No distracting lights or steam. Buying a couple more to tuck away in different corners of my house.

Like the other reviewers said, this item does not produce a noticeable smell unless you hold it up to your nose. A few drops of oil on a cotton round would produce the same amount of smell and would have saved me $15.

Love it. I use this in my office and it works GREAT... produces subtle aroma... everyone that walks in my office comments on how nice it smells. It's small, unobtrusive, and quiet. The size of felt pads are 17mm... it comes with 4, but you'll need to order refills.

Like other reviewers have stated, this works only if it is within two feet of your face-very disappointing and not worth the cost. Put a few drops of essential oil on a cotton ball and save yourself the money (or the hassle of returning).

I was hopeful because it was just a little fan instead of using water. It did run for a good amount of time and was very quiet but even after putting 10 drops, it didn’t smell unless you put your nose right up to the opening.

Bought this for my desk at work, and it works well for my immediate area. The best way to use it is to place it somewhere in-line with where the nose is/ higher up, in a small space. I'd say that if you want a STRONG smell, or want it for a large space, this isn't going to work for you. Remember, this is a device mainly for travel, so it's not going to be the strongest device in the world. One more negative thing I will say is that there is definitely a plastic smell that comes through when using it.

I am happy with this purchase. I was nervous because of the negative reviews but I disagree with them, this works pretty well. I added about 6 drops of oil and it filled my bedroom with the scent. If you are looking for something to give off a strong scent then this isn’t for you, it gives off a nice subtle fragrance. The fan is pretty much silent. The only way you hear it is if it’s up to your ear. All in all good purchase!

I followed the directions and bought the product thinking it would make my car smell nice. Turns on, makes a light buzzing noise and does NOT emit a scent or anything. I have to sniff the hole to smell the essential oil. Lost the receipt and wish I could return so I could get my money back!
