This 150 PSI, 1.5 gal Oil-Free Fully Shrouded Compressor allows for quick compressor recovery time. The fully enclosed design provides protection from hot or moving parts. The 150 PSI max tank pressure stores more air in the tank for longer runtime and the durable oil-free pump allows for long life and no maintenance. The motor starts easily in cold weather or with an extension cord and runs quieter for a more acceptable work environment.

I'm confused by the reviews... Had this for a year... does everything around the house and boat I need. NOT an industrial unit by any stretch of the imagination... but for occasional blows and fills... perfect... Well designed for the price point!

I LOVE this compressor. It's capable of more pressure than most consumer-grade home air compressors, and the air flow is sufficient for most common household tasks. Plus, this compressor is quiet (for an air compressor). It's small, light weight, portable, and performs well, without complaint or problem. In my case, I have the compressor hanging by its handle from a large hook I screwed into the wall stud. Hanging like this the back of the compressor is in contact with the wall, and so I put a large piece of rubberized foam between it and the wall, and *presto* I have a wall mounted, light weight, inexpensive, & relatively quiet compressor in my residential setting I can run at almost any hour.

I bought this at first (2010) to inflate my kid’s pool - have used it for years inflating inner tubes in winter, reinforce the master bed frame (*wink), inflate car tires, used it for my brad nailer to build a Thomas Tank engine play table back then. I just used (2021) it to build bookshelves with my brad nailer. It has been great to have around the house - i like that its a vertical, contained unit with easy handle. Just wish the little hideaway pocket at the back held the accessories better - stuff kept falling out. the regulator only now started leaking but you can replace those. My problem is I used a wrench to open the drain valve and broke it at the threads. It was seized because i forgot to drain regularly. My bad. Might buy it again, good little unit. Oh last thing - the coil hose got brittle in the cold and broke on me yesterday. This should come with a better quality hose.

I bought this compressor a few years ago but didn’t need it. I pulled it out the other day and after using one day —very noisy—found that the Metal manifold, that holds the gauges and the integrated regulator, was Broken. Edge indicated extreme metal granularity. Not possible to repair. After warranty. Recycled. Would never recommend.

I inherited my first unit from my father. He used it primarily for airing up tires and with blow tips for cleaning debris. I've since then used it more with nail guns doing maintenance on the property and keeping the tires up on his original '67 Mustang. Now I'm about buy a second for my home (the original still works fine but is kept at his property 180miles away). It works well for DIY projects where compact portability is preferable over getting out my larger compresspr/tank on wheels that Is used for air tools.

I have had this compressor for over 8 years. I've used it a ton from spraying all my 6 panel doors and cabinets in my house to using for tires on cars and 140 PSI tires on my bike. I've also used it for my nail guns when I replaced my roof, hardwood floors and for my finish nailers. It is quiet and replenishes air quickly. It is also very light for a compressor. This is my first Porter Cable compressor. I have had 2 other non-PorterCable small compact compressors that didn't last for more than a couple of years. I can't believe with how much use I have used it for that it is still going strong.

I am a hobbyist: filling tires on motorcycles, blowing dust etc. uses it maybe 6 times a month, already wont compress more than 30lb: worthless...

Bought this to carry in our Class A RV to inflate those 22.5 in. tires. Have had it for 3 years and worked perfectly. Tend to use it for lots of other jobs since it is so portable, and the air pressure easily adjustable.

I bought it few years ago,and only used it two three times a year to inflat the tires of my car.This year , it is leaking air from the regulator. I even cannot find any service centre in Vancouver BC
