Q: The space in between the side panels is too big for the back to slot in. Is there a fix to this?
A: Hi N - Great question! I searched high and low for an answer to your question and wanted to get some expert advice from someone who has had the same problem as you. Apparently there have been more than a few people that have had the same problem while assembling this beautiful tv stand. The best answer that I found that broke it down into steps was this 1. Do not over-tighten anything. You’ll find that you may have to loosen screws slightly to shift the top and bottom pieces to create a snug fit for the back panel of the unit. 2. Don’t worry if there are gaps with the back panel and the top/bottom panels, the legs will bring everything together. 3. You’re going to need some strength to muscle the legs and side supports into place to create the tight fit it should have. 4. Move through the directions in chronological order. This is the most important thing, but it’s really necessary. 5. Make sure you screw the hinges to the door first before affixing them to the final piece. (Use a level to ensure the doors hang properly) 6. Take your time. If you follow these directions along with the pictures in the directions and it still does not fix your problem, please contact Guest Relations at (800)440-0680 and we will be more than happy to assist you. I know this furniture piece is time consuming and challenging. I hope it works out for you. - Tara
