The color was not a gold. It was more of a light light champagne and did not match other accessories in the room.

Hi - the manufacturer does call the finish champagne gold, but it is true that it might not be a perfect match for other accessories you might have,. Gold is also a reflective color so it will pick up other finishes and colors in a room space. If the design is not for you please reach out to us through your Target account and we can assist you. This mirror is beautiful and I love the unique shape. My floating vanity is fusion quartzite, so it works with the unique flow of the stone vanity. Unfortunately, it overpowers my small powder room. I wish the mirror came in a smaller version.
