These are not the same formula as years past it is not very sticky- almost like honey and do not dry. I looked into other reviews and other people have noticed the same. Find another product/brand.

The paint is great -- same as it's always been, but recently the brush has been replaced with a piece of garbage. The old brush used to come to a lovely point, and this one looks like the tail of an angry cat. Bummer. I'm unlikely to buy this again, unless they change the brush quality back.

We spent a lot of time and energy painting beautiful cards. It's been over 3 weeks and the paint is still sticky so they can't be put in envelopes. Even the paints themselves do not dry in the pans. Help! please.

Great Price, Good Quality. I've used all different brands and these are some of the best that are not in tubes.

I have purchased many refills of the Oval 8 sets for my middle school art room. The newer formula paints do not dry after they are activated, and stay slimy in the pans. Also, the paint can be re-activated on the paper even after it is fully dry. Students often use too much, and their paper gets sticky as well. If they are not stored level, the paint flows out of the pans into the tray. Older refills (c. 1990) from a previous teacher do not react this way. Also, I recently purchased turquoise and magenta refills to add to my pans, and they are a different formula and don't blend easily with the oval 8 colors.

I ordered these for 3 grades of students in my school since due to Covid, they need their own supplies. They are defective! They were fine when I checked them in and packed them, but even before the students used them, the turquoise and the yellow turned to liquid! It is happening to a few each week. All the other colors are fine so it's not a temperature issue because our school has heat and AC and the temp is constant. I am waiting to hear from my supplier how to resolve the issue. In the meantime, they are a mess! the 8 color sets have been fine.

This washable paint set features glitter paint, which is so fun and nice from the usual paints I work with. I enjoy the portable packaging, as the packaging is slim and easy to hold as well as carry with me when i am on the go. The packaging also has a clear lid, which helps you see the colors below which there are 8 different shades of paint. They also include a nice paintbrush that works really well with the paint, I am glad they included a brush, as I lose mine quite often. The shades included are nice and pigmented with a variety of colors from gold and silver to blues and greens and red shades. I like using these in my coloring books as well as on my canvases for pops of color with glitter and shimmer. Using this set is super easy, the top unclasps and the paint is uncovered to use with water, and the paint brush. These paints are already a bit moist on their own, but adding a bit of water really lets the pigment color flow onto the paint brush. The paint mixes easily and coats the brush really well too, as well as the glitters. I get nice and even color when I am applying to my pages and canvases and the glitter is a nice feature. I like to mix the color with a slight touch of the silver and gold colors, to add even more shimmer which is beautiful. The paint is not sticky, and not messy at all which is nice from the usual paints I use. I recommend this set to anyone young or old who is looking for a fun paint set, glitter makes everything much more fun and interesting! I thoroughly enjoy this set, and will be using it until I run out of paint!

I'm very impressed by this set because it looks so good when dry & the glitter actually stays on the everything we have painted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the watercolor washable metallic paint set for my daughter. She loved painting with it. The colors came out nice on the paper. When it did get on her hands it washed off right away even when very dried on. Definitely would buy again.

Just add some water to your brush and put in whichever paint you want to use. Then you can color the watercolor pages or just a regular sheet of paper. Not messy at all. After you’re done you just clean off the brush with water and put it back in the case and shut it. So fun for children and adults!!

Very easy to moisten and get them started unlike other watercolors that take lots of water to get the color/coverage you need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Ticonderoga Watercolor Washable Metallic paint set from Tryit Sampling for being a BazaarVoice member in the online community. My words are my own. I really loved using this with my 5yr old because the metallic gives the artwork a extra pop of color. You can see each tiny shimmer inside each individual color after opening. These are great for kids or even beginner painters because they are washable and easy to wipe and clean right up.

It was pretty much depleted after a couple of hours. I'm also very lucky that it is washable, because it got a little all over the place! haha. Time well spent! Thank you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really like this 8 color watercolor set. The colors are vibrant and deep. The case is sturdy and has mixing wells in the lid to mix colors. There is a place in the bottom to store the brushes. You can even get a replacement for the paints. It is easy to clean up and fun to use.

I like that it comes with a brush, but for us using our fingers gave us the best color pay off. The glitter is a fun touch and the paint colors are vibrant. I also like that it was indeed easy to get him washed up after his painting spree wound up on his body. These paints would be perfect to use for fun gifts to give to loved ones .
