I'm looking to size up now with warmer weather approaching.

Like the style, but the sizing was weird for us. My son is tall and lean and this shirt was too short and wide. It also felt pretty heavy for a sun protection shirt. The extra large hood would have been nice.

The material of these shirts and the short sleeve version are my kid's favorite. I like these shirts for sun protection, especially in summer. They run large but can be worn a long time. My oldest can wear a 5/6 and a 7/8. The 5/6 has a tighter fit where the 7/8 has plenty of room for growth yet. The hoods do occasionally get used, but it'd be great to have this shirt available without the hood too. Stitching on the pocket and at the neck has ripped and we've had to sew the seams on older shirts up several times. TBD on the new one we just ordered in purple.
