Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad Classic Pasta Kit 7.75oz

If you were to serve this pasta salad as is, I think it would taste pretty bland. I think this kit is just a good base for your pasta salad. I made it tonight to make a greek style pasta salad and added kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, orange bell pepper, red onion, and cucumber. After combining the ingredients, sitting in the fridge for an hour covered (to have the flavors combine properly), I tasted it and thought it was still a bit bland. In my opinion, when you take the seasoning packet and add the water and olive oil, to mix together, you should also add a teaspoon of red wine vinegar and just a little squeeze of lemon, about one slice of lemon for pasta salad this size. Bonus points for 1-2 cloves of finely minced garlic and fresh parsley added in. MUCH better! Normally I make my pasta salad completely from scratch, and its quite famous in my family circle. If you want to up the taste, definetly try adding in the red wine vinegar and/or a little squeeze of lemon to the mix.

I have enjoyed packed lunches of Suddenly Salad's pasta for many years now, the classic flavor being one of my favorites. However, i was going into work the other day with my tuperware container of pasta and my set of travel utensils and had a rather unpleasent experience! I was walking through the metal detectors to go into the building and my silverware set off the detector. The security guard opened the case where my silverware is stored and started manhandling my fork! He took it out of the case right by the prongs and I had to find a plastic fork to eat with since mine was now dirty. How hard would it have been to just use the handle?? I wouldn't have tried bringing in reusable silverware if i knew i would have to end up using plasticware anyway. I was rather unimpressed with the way the security officer searched my belongings, but my lunch was still tasty.

Tried this for the first time and it’s pretty good and very easy, I like that the pasta and seasonings are all there, just add oil and water, very easy! Flavor is good too, I just added some ranch dip to add some creaminess to it.

This is so easy to make and I always add some fresh grape tomatoes and cucumbers to top off. Can’t beat the price.

I love having this in my pantry always for a quick and easy pasta salad mix. Great for parties too!

I love this product however I do change it up, I will continue to purchase this the box makes the right size amount for 2 people.

Awesome , crowd pleaser!!! I added tomatoes and cheese , doubles the recipe and the whole family pigged out ! We loved how light and fresh it was ! Paired perfectly with our bbq.

My fave boxed pasta salad! Great for get-togethers. But I wish the quantity was more; I bought two boxes for a small family bbq (12 people), we all like our seconds! And I probably could’ve used two more boxes! I had to find some noodles around the house in order to add more :/

Our family has been eating the this classic pasta salad for as long as I can remember. It is a family favorite but recently we have all noticed that it doesn’t have the same flavor as before. It is very bland. Almost line there is not any seasoning in the dressing. We are all very disappointed.

Great for summer. Add cherry tomatoes, pepperoni, small shrimp any of your favorites.
