I usually love using all the varieties of these but recently had the same issue as another reviewer here apparently and found little white hair like pieces in my sauce I used this paste in. What changed??? If this continues I won't be buying these anymore and I'll just have to start up my own little herb garden.

When it’s winter and I can’t get basil from a farmers market, this is a great alternative. So easy to use, great flavor, certainly better than using dried basil or the overpriced, not-so-fresh basil leaves next to it on the shelf. Not to mention very economical for the number of servings you get. Very pleasantly surprised with this product.

This paste is so fresh and the taste is as close as it gets to fresh 🌿!!! It is so refreshing. This basil paste is so delicious on turkey sandwiches. This is healthier than using mayo and so delicious. I am getting more and want to try in recipes! Such a great idea fresh basil 🌿 in a tube and it keeps well.

I add this to many thing - I make a lemon/butter/basil/capers sauce to use on fish and as salad dressing. This goes in smoothly. Smells and tastes like fresh basil. Easy to use with measuring spoons.

You would think a "plant based" product would be plant based, but buyers beware it contains milk. Fortunately, I read the ingredients before cooking with it. Nope, no thank you. I'm going to have to return to the store for a refund.

I absolutely love this basil paste!! I use it in lots of recipes. But I absolutely hate how hard it is to find in stores! Please, Gourmet Garden folks, make it easier to purchase. I also use the cilantro paste a lot but it is just as hard to find. It's frustrating.

I stock up with a few tubes, and find that the taste is indistinguishable in dishes from fresh basil. The colour is rich, the flavour completely basil. Fresh basil wilts and must be consumed fairly fast- and repurchased constantly if, like me, you're a frequent basil user. What an invention! Thanks, Garden Gourmet.

Absolutely love this, and it lasts a long time in fridge. It's easy to use and cheaper in long run as fresh basil doesn't keep before leaves turn brown. Great product looking for mint in a tube next....(without oil)...
