Summary of reviews
Milo's Kitchen Chicken Meatballs are a favorite among dogs, praised for their soft texture and delicious flavor. Many guests appreciate their effectiveness as pill pockets, making medication time easier for both pets and owners. However, concerns have been raised about the inclusion of garlic and onion, which are toxic to dogs. Despite this, the treats are often described as a go-to option for picky eaters and older dogs who struggle with harder treats.

These are a favorite in my household for my dogs. Each treat is a large size but they’re easy to split in half for smaller dogs. They’re also very soft which makes them easy to chew for older dogs and they don’t harden quickly once the bag has been opened.

My dog loves them! I’ve been buying these meatballs occasionally for years. But my dog has recently needed to start taking 2 allergy pills per day and she does not like the pill pockets. These chicken meatballs have been a lifesaver; they are the perfect texture to stick the small pills inside and squish around the medication. She eats them up undetected every time!

I am appalled that a company would produce dog treats containing garlic and onion. These are toxic ingredients to dogs. Shame on you.

Thank you for reaching out. A trace amount of garlic and onion are used to improve aroma of the product. At these low levels, the products comply with FDA requirements and there is no food safety concern for pets. We care about the wellness and safety of all pets, including our own, and would never offer a product that wasn’t deemed safe by the FDA for pets to consume. I just bought these, and I looked at the ingredients and there is a whole bunch of toxins for the dog. Garlic and onion.

Garlic as an ingredient - 1 year ago
Dear Pet Parents, Please do not feed this product to your pet as it contains Garlic Powder. Regardless of what the FDA deems "safe" 10/10 vets will agree that garlic is dangerous for your pet to ingest. Garlic powder is more concentrated as well. I'm sure Milo will comment saying I'm wrong that the FDA says it's okay, but is it truly worth the risk for your pet? There are other options out there. Background on me: I've worked in the pet food retail industry, zoos accredited by AZA, along with multiple animal santuaries, and a biology degree with a focus on animal studies culminating in 10+yrs of animal related experience. Please go with another product. Thank you.

My dog has cancer, severe anemia, and cushings disease. These days shes really not wanted to eat. I sprinkle a meatball over her food in the morning and she eats it all up! I am glad she loves the taste of this.
