Perfect height. No assembly required. The only thing I would say is that the caps are hard to snap on the bottom of the threaded rod. Swivels great. I put felt on the bottom of the legs as an extra precaution. Color matches the website. Compliments the island very well. Best price on internet.

I like that I didn't have to assemble anything. The stools feel sturdy and heavy. The leather is actually pretty soft. My only complaint is the "paint" is chipping off the base where the frame was welded. This is true for all of the stools that I purchased in the same spot. Its not worth returning (as I know my kids will trash these stools over a few years), but a bit annoying. Overall I'm happy
