The wine opens with aromas of cherries, cassis, and currant, with softer notes of brown butter, toffee, baking chocolate, toasted oak, rainbow peppercorns and bay leaf. This full-bodied wine is silky with flavors of baked berries, brown butter, and vanilla. The fruit is beautifully integrated with lightly toasted oak leading to a lengthy finish. Aged to perfection in French oak barrels, our Cabernet Sauvignon consistently garners strong critical acclaim vintage after vintage. Made to be shared with friends and savored with food or on its own, Charles Krug Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is sure to be the highlight of any gathering.
