Description
Far from typical dog kibble, Rachael Ray Nutrish Dish Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe With Veggie & Fruit Blend dog food is inspired by real recipes from Rachael Ray’s kitchen. It provides complete and balanced nutrition for dogs of all sizes, with tastes and textures dogs love.
Real chicken is always the number one ingredient (more on that below). Meanwhile, brown rice — a carbohydrate that′s low in fat but high in fiber — helps support healthy digestion and is a good source of energy.
Plus, there are real ingredients you can see in every bowl:
REAL CHICKEN PIECES are slow roasted with a real delicious meat texture and hickory smoke flavor — and they contain protein to help support healthy organs and maintain lean muscle mass.
COIN-CUT CARROTS are a source of fiber that helps support healthy digestion. Plus, they offer a tasty crunch.
FIELD PEAS are excellent sources of vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber to help support healthy digestion.
CRISP APPLES are a tasty source of fiber and minerals, which help support overall well-being.

My two dogs have loved the chicken and brown rice Nutrish dish for quite a while. I purchase the large bags and have them autoshipped from Chewy. This month I had to pick up a small bag from Meijer in between my regular Chewy delivery. The small bag had zero carrots, zero apples, virtually no peas or chunks of meat. What happened? I haven't experienced this inconsistency before and am disappointed...so are my pups.

My 3yr old Aussie Shepard is super picky about his food. He will go days if he doesn’t like what he’s being given. And sometimes he dislikes something he seemed to have loved the day before. We’re only on day 2 and he definitely likes this way more than his current brand of Iams mini chunks. Personally i like seeing the chunks of real looking food in there. And the kibble itself is smaller than even the mini chunks, which he seems to prefer. In the past he’s enjoyed the Nutrish version but only for about 4 months and then we had to switch to a new brand. A very picky boy.

Bought dish for 3 1/2 years now. So sad they replaced the old chicken chunks for these artificial looking plastic pieces. I have to throw them out cause they make my dog ill. I like everything else in the food and still buy it. WHAT HAPPENED!!!!! These don't even breakdown in water after 3 days. Is their no one in quality control. We loved the others. Even used them as a separate treat. In fact you should find them again and sell them as bagged treats. Please take notice.

Our dog is short haired and had problems losing her fur. Medication from the vet did not help. After switching to this food her skin issues cleared right up. She really likes the taste as well.

Purchased frequently until we recently discovered in 2019, the FDA named Rachael Ray Nutrish as one of the dog food brands linked to canine heart disease. A few years gone, but it does explain our fur babies recently diagnosed heart murmur. The brand is not as good as it seems 😔

My dog has been on this food for 12 years … It took forever to find a good dog food she would eat, due to her being so picky. I've been finding it very hard to get and need to know if this means that it may soon no longer be available. I truly hope not, as trying to switch her food now that she is over 12 years old will be very difficult. Please assure me that you will continue to produce this product. Thank you!

I have purchased this twice, the first time I figured it was a fluke that there were almost no chicken pieces in it. Unfortunately this second bag has even less chicken than the first. I'm almost half through the bag and have only seen one piece of chicken and very few veggies other than peas. My dog will eat it but he's not terribly picky. For the price I definitely expected better.

We have always used Rachael Ray for 5 years now, a year ago I switched my dog to the Rachael Ray Nutrish Dish and she loves it. The chunks of meat and vegetables, I feel like she’s getting a good meal without having to add in any of our groceries as a filler. I pour her food and she eats it right away or else it’s gone by the night. Yes she goes for the good stuff first and saves the kibble for last. I do wish target sold bigger bag options and that Rachael ray also sold bigger bags in general of this food

I buy the 11.5 pound bag for 2 of my shihtzus. At first they loved it, especially the big chunks of chicken. They looked for those and ate them first. Unfortunately, there are hardly any pieces in the food. My second bag, I think I counted less than 10 pieces. This bag lasts me about a month for them. They really don't get any chicken except for a few feedings. They are less and less interested. Will probably have to switch.

It may have been just our dog but she got the trots, all over our carpeted living room from it- too much fiber? Maybe something else caused her to react this way. Just wondering if other dog families have experienced this?
the price markup is INSANE

my pup mostly loved it especially the mix of the meat chunks in it. i’m a little bothered that they use sunflower oil in it, it’s a seed oil that causes inflammation. they could use a cleaner oil in the food thats nutrient dense and isn’t harmful to dogs. my biggest complaint is the fact that it’s gone up 8$ in the last two months. i totally get inflation, but the mark up is insane. sadly i just don’t think it’s worth it for this brand of dog food anymore and we went ahead and switched back to iams.
Very pleased!

My 20 lb, 12 year old beagle/daschund mix, was on the same lamb and rice food for over 11 years. I changed to this Rachel Ray Nutrish Dish, about 7 months ago. I am so pleased with the results, his coat is shiny and soft, and he really looks great! He really likes it, I think the veggies are a hit in it. I thought the chunks would be too big, but he has no problem eating it. There has been a noticable difference in him, the way he looks and feels. I would highly recommend trying this food.
