I was skeptical about tension rods being able to hold up blackout curtains without incident. Happy to say, so far so good! They seem secure even with opening and closing them several times a day. Great for dorms or apartments when you don’t want holes in the walls

Although the look and feel is nice - it did not stay when placed. Continuously fell down. Come to find out - the spring mechanism was broken but we were past the return window.

The reason I am giving this rod set three stars is because the curtain fabric will not go from end to end due to the end design of this rod. There will be a space of about one inch on each side. The quality, value and ease of installation was very very good. I have a first floor window where I used this rod and wanted complete coverage from end to end. I Overall, I would recommend it for other areas where complete privacy is not an issue.

Works if you don't touch it, which is tricky for a curtain rod since you will need to open/close your curtains from time to time.

It looks great!! My new apartment bedroom has a door connected to the patio. Even though there is a blind over the door window; I wanted a curtain for more privacy. I didn't want to deal with metal hardware and worry about damaging the door frame. Also, I had a similar curtain rod for the bedroom window frame in which is bigger. Both curtain rods are the same color and so it work out at perfectly. The rod was easy to put up and so far, no problems with it falling down.

I had no problems with it. It is sturdy n looks good. The tension is firm and secure, not at all flimsy like others. Just make sure you are good on the width...I had to squeeze my curtains over it which was my fault for not checking my curtains first. Looks good tho.

It is everything I thought it would be. The only criticism I have is the set screw should be on the bottom, but it isn't a deal breaker by any means. Maybe they are all on the top, don't know.

It is a very nice tension rod and well worth the money. I only gave it 4 stars because my window is 35 inches and the rod is only 36. As a result, the rod kind of sags in the middle. As I am only using it for sheers, it will probably work. I only wish the rod was a little longer to compensate for 35 inch windows.
