A: Yes the light tampax is smaller but not the best if you have a heavy flow. Maybe wear a thin pad under if you are but they are good.

I am a pad/tampon user. I don't use tampons all the time but when I do I really like these. I find these to be very absorbant. I just wish they would make a true organic version, since I don't know exactly how safe these ingredients really are.

T Pearl came out in 2002, I was in the 6th grade. I snagged a box and this is my brand ever since. I have tried to stray, but I come crawling back. I will say it’s getting increasingly hard to find a 36ct light. Absorbency has changed, but I’ve also had children. :)

What I like about this brand is that I can normally only find this brand in lites. These are good for when I have slow days. They are comfortable and dependable. The other sizes are good as well, they fit well and are painless to use.

Whoever at Tampax had the bright idea to make their period products smaller without warning consumers, I truly hope you die. As a woman with a heavier flow, I literally need bigger products for the first couple days of my period. Because tampax has decided to make their products smaller (without a price change btw!), I have to get different products that will actually work the way a period product is supposed to! Your company truly, truly sucks. Think about the people for once and stop being greedy. You don’t deserve success if this is how you treat your consumers.

We're so sorry to hear you're noticing leaks, Livi, and this certainly isn't the experience we want for you. The only recent change to our tampons is that new product has a 20% (6mm) longer braid vs. older product and we wouldn't expect this to be the source of leaks. Using the right absorbency for your flow should provide 4 to 8 hours of protection, and we know how frustrating leaking can be. It’s always important to choose the lowest tampon absorbency necessary for your menstrual flow. With that said, using a lower-absorbency tampon for a heavy flow may fill the tampon up quickly and, if not changed soon enough, may result in leakage. Sometimes too, heavy clotting may coat the tampon and prevent thinner blood from being absorbed. In both cases, using a higher-absorbency tampon is recommended. We'd recommend that you try Regular and Super absorbency for your heavier flow rather than Light/Regular for better results. We have strict quality controls in place to ensure that our products arrive to you in perfect condition, so we'd like to learn more to share this with our Quality Team. Simplistic and easy to use design. Great tampon to use on a first time period since the applicator is very simple and mess free. Have had occasional problems with leakage but that could be the way I inserted it.

As someone that is super sensitive, these tampons work the best for me. I like the plastic applicator because it doesn’t irritate me. These also last longer than other brands that I have tried.

I bought a box of 36 lite tampons at Walmart. When I opened the sealed box it looked a little empty. I counted and there were only 27 tampons in the box. Very disappointing to pay that much money and not get what’s advertised.

As far as the tampon itself, (you know the part that enters the body) I can not complains really. I have used this product regularly for some time now. The biggest irration for me about the trio pack is that I can not distinguish between the different sizes easily. I usually have to pull four or 5 out of the box and distinguish which is which by finding the letter on the side of wrapper. This causes an already irrational woman on her menstrual cycle to just about cry and truly frusterates me after its all said and done. I have spent more time on the toilet riffling thru the box, pulling out tampon after tampon, and wasting more time trying to find the desired size than it takes to unwrap and insert the thing. My suggestion would be to make using solid colors or bolder colors or more random vibrant, different colors all together. Purple for light days, pink for regular, and green for super + days for example. I know that one of the concepts for the pearl is the discreetness of the tampon being a tampon but to be honest its 2024 and being discreet no longer matters as it did 20 30 years ago when boys still did not know we had periods til we married them. Anyways though, I will continue to use this product because overall the tampon aspect is on point and that's truly the main importance of the product for me!

I’m 42 and right now my periods are much lighter than they were when I was younger. I get this mixed pack with Regular and Light tampons. The light ones are much more comfortable and all I need for those light days. It’s convenient to get both absorbency sizes I may need in one box. Tampax always absorb well and I don’t have to worry about leakage.
