The Lustre Solid Heavyweight Textured Sateen Room Darkening Grommet Top Curtains are the perfect addition to any room. Woven with thermal insulation, these indoor curtains are energy efficient, block natural light, and provide privacy in your home. This light blocking curtain panel set has a beautiful lustrous sheen and includes eight (8) brushed nickel grommets, making them an ideal window treatment for your living room or bedroom. These timeless curtains fit any curtain rod up to 1.25” in diameter. For proper look and fullness, the curtain panels should measure 2-3 times the width of your window/opening. Hand wash only.

Against a white background will resemble cream and against a cream background would look more white. The color while not what I wanted was good enough.

A: Per our opacity meter, these are a 3. You can reference our scale for more clarity. For best performance, we recommend using 2-3x window width for proper coverage and fullness!

Not close to the orange shown in the photos - definitely closer to red /: “Shinier” fabric than it looks online, too. The images make the fabric look like a textured velvet, but is more like a thick faux silk. Returned right away.

These blackout curtains really work, once they are closed our room is completely dark. They are eary to hangup too with the design of the metal rings. Highly recommend.

The curtains are nice and work well for dimming the light in my office. Note that the Vanilla color is ivory, not a blue-based bright white. The flaws: like other curtains I've bought through Target from this manufacturer, one of the curtains had a stain on it *inside* the factory packaging. It was a small, light orange smear; I treated it with a Tide pen and washed it, and the stain didn't come out. However, no one else is going to notice the stain, and the price on these was really low. We're getting what we pay for. Ultimately, they look nice hanging up, work well, and get the job done.

The curtain quality seemed fine, but I ordered four sets and one was clearly a very different color. Unfortunately I preferred the odd one out! The others were a much brighter/reddish orange than I anticipated.

Says what it is, it’s room-darkening, not blackout curtains. That’s 100% true, so I will admit I bought this without fully noticing the difference in phrasing. I assumed at the time it was the same thing. Anyways, it’s really nice quality, I like the feel of the material. It does however need to be ironed a bit or something to get the wrinkles and indentations out due to how it’s packaged. Just to clarify for others wondering or is a first time curtain buyer like I am, this comes with 2 curtains that are 63” wide and 52” long each. When hung up together side by side, it makes a total length of 126” wide. So this definitely fit the wider panel windows I currently have while also leaving extra room on the sides. Definitely factor that in when measuring, or else it won’t block as much of the sun on the sides. Be careful when measuring. When in doubt, measuring again to be sure.

We purchased the orange ones for our living room. They’re pretty curtains but don’t look like the photo. The color is more of a summery, brighter orange salmon color instead of the more rust orange color shown. It also has more of a shine to it. Also the texture looks like it may snag easily because they had some small ones when we got them but hopefully it’s not a huge issue.

Oh wow, these curtains are not at all what I expected. I thought the color was more burgundy based on the pictures but the color is bright red. Also, it looks like I got two completely different curtains. One has almost a shimmery material and the other is more of a rigid texture.

These were ok but not what I was expecting. We purchased them in white and at first I was impressed by the texture and the way they filtered light when hung. I later drove bye my house (the curtains were hung in one of our front rooms) and was unpleasantly surprised that the curtains have a weird shiny sheen on the side that faces out. They look kind of ridiculous from the outside - not at all how they look inside.
