Q: Why does this say only to use on kids 1 year and up? Can this not be used on an infant?

A: I'm wondering the same thing - I've been using this on my baby since day 1 and he is now 5 months old. I saw that detail noted on the site when I got online to order more just now. He has never had diaper rash, nor has had any reaction to this cream, and we love the product! I'm not sure why it would be unsafe for babies, because it's free of harmful ingredients. I wrote to baby bum initially telling them i was planning to use it for my baby before he was due and asked if it was safe for cloth diapers and they said yes and never mentioned it was not safe for my baby himself, so I think it is fine to use with infants.

I wanted to like this cream since it is more natural than others, hoping the positive reviews were right. However, it does apparently nothing. Doesn’t seem to prevent nor help diaper rashes. In fact, at times I wondered if it was possibly worsening the rashes slightly. I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old, my younger would sometimes cry when I applied this so I stopped using it on her altogether. This has a low percentage of zinc oxide in it, which means it completely disappears before the next diaper change. Not good protection, will not buy again.

This is great for my daughter’s booty! Goes on smooth and easy to apply with a bumco brush. I like that it’s safe for her sensitive skin and helps relieve rash fast!

This was the most effective cream I found to treat and prevent diaper rash. I chose this brand because we used cloth diapers and I was looking for something with zinc oxide that wasn't petroleum based. This stuff saved my son's butt!

This product was suggested by a friend who uses it on her son and while I haven't tried every diaper cream on the market I have tried Whole Foods 365 Brand (that pilled up so bad on my baby) and Pipette (unfortunately didn't keep diaper rash at bay) This stuff works! I love the consistency and it sticks to my daughter's bum but it's still creamy. I wish it came in a bigger tube!

I’ve tried basically every clean/ cruelty free diaper rash and this was by far the best one. My daughter didn’t cry with this one when ever she had a rash. I still have a back up just in case. Now she potty trained.

My baby’s rash is gone within an hour! She’s teething so diarrhea is definitely tough on her. When she very irritated I put this cream on her. I let her skin absorb it by letting her be diaper free for about 15 minutes. We’ll sing the abc song while she’s on the changing table.

This is the only diaper cream I’ve found that doesn’t break my baby out. It doesn’t wash off too fast but also isn’t impossible to wash off. I love that it has plant-based ingredients, cruelty free and is free from all of the nasty stuff and preservatives. Not a huge tube but definitely worth the price!

I decided to give this cream a try since my kids have been using the sun-blocker for awhile now. It’s only been a week but this does not leave any residue after it’s applied. We usually wear it for night time and so far so good.

I am glad I bought this. I'm an adult and get rashes a lot that are cured by diaper rash cream. I had another cream made for adults that just wasn't working, so I bought this. It doesn't have a smell, has good ingredients, isn't extremely pasty, and doesn't leave an overly bad residue on clothes. It worked on my rash!

I absolutely love this diaper cream. It glides on so smooth but covers diaper area well with a thin barrier that stayed on after multiple diaper changes. I was very impressed with this product. Love that it is made with natural products and fragrance free. I highly recommend trying if you haven’t already. I will definitely buy again. I already purchased other items in this product line to try after liking this one so much.

I’ve been using baby buns diaper rash cream on my daughter for almost a year now and it’s never failed me. Prior to using Ive used Desitin (as it was a gift), Burt’s bees and a few other natural brands. I have to say baby bums diaper rash cream is the best when it comes to healing bum rash on my daughter and it’s not too pricey considering it’s a natural brand. It doesn’t have an overwhelming smell either which is great.
