Braided Cotton Chenille Chain Stitch Bath Rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great size and washes easily. Or doesn't slip around on the floor which is great. It holds a good amount of water before feeling wet and is soft while feeling thick under your feet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Madison Park Braide Bath Rug, 17x24”, in white was the perfect size for a bath mat. It was beautiful to look at, and soft and cozy to walk on. I loved the texture of the mat, and the non slip grip so it didn’t move and slide when I walked on it. Problem came when I washed it. I followed all the instructions, but the mat was shedding pieces of the thread all over my washing machine and it was a huge mess to clean out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bath rug is super cute, super chic. And very minimalistic, which I absolutely adore!, it’s very plush and soft. It’s tiny but it can fit anywhere in the bathroom. Maintenance is fine just needs to be washed every week because it is white. And because it’s braided it’s durable yet soft enough to absorb water. It’s very sturdy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bath mat is super thick and absorbent. It doesn’t slide around on the tile floor. I haven’t had it long but it seems to be constructed well and it held up during its first wash in the machine.

I wish it were about 2 inches linger on each side, but I think it would be perfect for a small bathroom. I have washed and dried it and it held up well.

Very cute rug. Love the braided chenille look. It should be used in low traffic area and spot cleaned. Beware it is very difficult to wash. The water does not spin out of it. Hard to dry. Does not look the same.

If I could give 0 stars I would - the rug has literally started falling apart.

This looked great until I washed it once and it started coming apart. I couldn’t even use it because of the damage. For $30 I don’t know expect it to last forever but come on :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got this bath rug I was excited because of the cute design. I also was happy to see that while the back does not have a full latex backing, it does have some kind of rubber texture throughout the back. This helps the rug to not slide around. On the other hand, I would not get this rug again. The white color looks dirty all the time. Also, the rug looks matted all the time. Last, I washed this rug and noticed afterwards that one of the ribbons in a braid was already almost torn. I would pass on this rug even though it looks cute at first.

It was soo soft and was a pleasure to step onto it as I came out of the shower. It did not slip at all, and seemed to also dry fairly quickly. I also really like the fact that it is machine washable.

My washer however doesn't like it. After washing it I had to put it on the drain/spin cycle two times after the initial wash because it was just too wet to put it in the dryer. Other than that this is the PERFECT rug!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, lest anyone make the same mistake I did, this is a bath RUG not a bath MAT, and apparently they are not the same thing! An easy mistake, I suppose, but it is important that you know what you're looking for. In a bath rug, (or at least this bath rug) you get a much thicker product. I looked at it and thought, wow, this will be so luxurious. But it was not. I had three main problems with this item: 1. Far from the plush luxury I was hoping for, this actually hurt my feet! The design is made of thick weaves which, though interesting looking, are honestly pretty uncomfortable to stand on. 2. It is somewhat rubberized on the bottom, so you can't scoot from the shower to the counter. You have to step onto the cold floor and walk, leaving a trail of water. 3. The fabric of the weaves is so dense that it takes forever to dry, even from a normal shower. It was still damp the next day and we live in very dry SoCal. Over time, never fully drying, I'm afraid it would begin to grow mildew. I did like the unique pattern/design. It's suitable for a boho, country kind of decorating motif and makes a fun addition. I just don't think its cute form outweighs its inconvenient function.
