My 6 year old daughter wanted roller skates for Christmas. She is a begginer and never had skates on before. She is very finicky about the way her shoes fit and feel so I was concerned about comfort and proper fit. I got these in a size 13. She loves them! Fit great and no complaints of discomfort. I love the classic design.

My 5 year old had been begging for skates and LOVES these! She's a toe-walker which makes some shoes not fit well since her feet are tall but these fit great! No complaints! It was hard to find skates that made any sense in the size and fit but these fit great with her shoe size being between 10 1/2 and 12 since we've had them. We use them on the sidewalk outside...we couldn't be happier! We don't know about durability because she's not too rough on any of her toys, unlike her little brother, but I bet they'd do just fine!
