My baby absolutely hated this. Also it is not good for babies hips, ask a pediatric physical therapist and they will tell you the same.

It’s great for a small/light baby. We used this one for our newborns and a different ergobaby one as they got bigger. If the parent is on the lighter side, the bottom strap digs into your hip bones. The back strap is also so thin it doesn’t give much support once baby is a couple months old and also digs in.

We live in AZ and I needed to find a carrier that would allow me to carry our baby without overheating her. This carrier has been great for wearing baby around the house and even going hiking. It works for both my husband and I which is wonderful!

For reference, I also have a sling and a Baby k'tan fabric wrap. This carrier was the most comfortable for me of the three, it felt like I could wear it for so long before my back hurting, but unfortunately my little one would not settle and cried a lot -- he greatly prefers the other two. Not sure if it is the fabric or the fit that made him uncomfortable. I tried adjusting it many times because I wanted him to be comfortable and love it, but no such luck. I recommend keeping the tags on to try and see how your baby feels in it.

My experience with the Ergobaby Baby Carrier left me with mixed feelings, ultimately leading to a decision to return the product. Initially drawn to its touted comfort and versatility, I found the carrier to be more complicated to use than anticipated. The intricate straps and multiple adjustment points, though designed for customization, proved to be more cumbersome than user-friendly. Putting on and securing the carrier became a complex task, especially for a parent looking for a quick and straightforward solution. The learning curve was steeper than expected, making it less than ideal for busy days on the go. After struggling with the Ergobaby, I opted to explore other options and ultimately decided to purchase the Baby Bjorn. The simplicity of the Baby Bjorn's design, coupled with its ease of use, provided the hassle-free experience I was seeking. The decision to switch to a different carrier was driven by the desire for a more intuitive and user-friendly solution that wouldn't compromise on comfort for both myself and my baby. While the Ergobaby may work well for some, my personal preference leaned towards a simpler and more straightforward baby carrier, leading me to part ways with the Ergobaby in favor of the Baby Bjorn.

You can’t wear it on your own. I am tall and this doesn’t work for me. I can’t tighten it enough for my baby and I to be comfortable..

It is a little challenging to get it on when you are alone. It’s not impossible, especially once you’ve done it over and over but you basically put it on while putting the baby in.

I LOVE my Ergo Baby! We have the Onmi 360 cotton. I take baby for walks in it daily and have recently started using it on my back while I do things around the house. It's wonderful and baby is very content in it.

Going strong with baby #2

We got the Ergo 360 with our first baby. He needed to be held or in constant motion and the ergo was a way of life. We carried him on outings, during chores, and many naps. Four years later and we have welcomed baby #2! He spends a large part of the day in the ergo as we chase big brother around, do chores and (he) takes naps. This is hands down my favorite baby/toddler product. It's more comfortable than a ring sling and easy to put on. The mesh helps keep both of us from overheating. It fits my 5'-4" build as well as my 5'-10" husband. Love it!

Expensive for a carrier we barely used. Mom is 5ft maybe it’s not built for petite moms. Our baby dislike it.

I had been looking for a carrier to use just while running errands when I don’t want to lug around the stroller but I really did end up using it much in the states. I have traveled to India, in a city that’s not great for pushing a stroller around, and it has literally saved my back and arms from carrying baby everywhere. Baby always sits comfortably either facing me or out and has slept comfortably in there while I carry her around. It has been a godsend for travel! Also a tip for plus size parents, I wear a pant size 22 US and I wear this with no issue.

Great carrier! We purchased this for our second child, and I wish I would have had it for our first as well. We cycled through a few different budget carrier options, none of which were truly comfortable for baby or wearer. We aren't planning on having more children and I hesitated on spending this much for a carrier we'll only use for a short period- I wish I hadn't waited!! The padding, attention to detail, and production on this product far surpass the cheaper varieties we used in the past. Well worth the money!

I absolutely LOVE the embrace carrier and used it for as long as possible before having to switch to the 360 when my baby grew out of the Embrace. The 360 is great minus the locations of the buckles. Getting it to release is nearly impossible for me and making use of the carrier something I don’t look forward to. Wish there was something that can be done seeing as how the other carriers have the buckles in the front which would make life sooo much easier.

I absolutely love my Ergobaby carrier! I have been using it with the newborn insert and my baby loves it. I've been using it to take her on a long walk everyday and it quickly soothes her to sleep. I'm 5'3 and haven't had any issues with the fit. My husband, who is 5'7, also enjoys using it. I find it to be very comfortable for my back, especially when I compare it to my Moby Wrap. It was slighlty difficult at first to figure out how to put it on, but after watching a couple videos and practicing I quickly learned how to use it. I'm now able to put it on and off by myself and I'm able to adjust it easily for myself after my husband uses it. I am so excited to use the different carry positions as my baby gets older.

Total waste of money !

Total crap! I'm 5'4" and there is no way this was made for me. The shoulders are so wide they are really close to slipping off and dropping baby. Also the design is just plain the worst of any baby carrier I've ever seen. You can't get it on by yourself, and there's no way you can get baby in safely without taking half of it off. Ergobaby won't give me my money back because they want me to take the time to send a million pictures of us using it and then schedule an appointment to talk to someone about it. Are you kidding me? I have a baby, hence I bought your carrier, I sure as all get out don't have time for your shinanegans. Totally awful waste of money! We don't have this kind of money to spend!!!
