Q: Is it good for bed bugs?

The Zevo fly, Gnat, fruit fly, flying insect spray works good, but it smells horribly strong! First attempt to use we could not put up with the smell in the house, and therefore I set it aside. I sent it to work with my husband as he has a lot of trouble with pests, because his work site is right next to the ocean. He told me that the product worked pretty good in his office setting, but the smell was overpowering! Too overpowering, so much so that he doesn’t even like using it at work. I would not purchase this product in the future, I guess I would recommend it if you can tolerate the smell. Please keep in mind that it is very strong.

I really wanted to love this product, but it fell short in several ways. First, the bottle is unnecessarily large yet only filled halfway, which feels wasteful and misleading—especially since the top half isn’t transparent, so you can’t tell until unless you tilt the bottle. More importantly, it just didn’t work. I had gnats in two large potted plants and went through an entire bottle in a couple of weeks, yet the problem persisted. It didn’t even seem to kill the gnats on contact. Disappointing, especially for the price.

We'd like to mention that our Zevo sprays should be used directly on the bugs you'd like to get rid of, to the point where they're completely covered in Zevo. It may be helpful to know that this product is an aerosol, and the space above the liquid level is occupied by the nitrogen propellant, which is needed in order to dispense the product out of the bottle. I moved into this apartment about a year ago, and I am inundated with fruit flies and no amount of diligent cleaning has even put a dent in it. I bought ZEVO spray, even though it's very expensive, because its specifically for fruit flies. The spray nozzle on the can didn't work, which is frustrating. The bottle is plastic so I cut the top off and put in a spray bottle, and ended up spilling half of it. I like the essential oil aroma, but I'd rather a toxic smell of regular bug spray that works. I spent $10 to give the fruit flies a spa day! I tried the trap too but it didn't work that well either. Save your money, buy a pack of ramekins and use cider vinegar with a squirt of dishwasher liquid!

The spray has a lingering scent and it makes me cough. When I use the spray for gnats, they laugh. It only kills bugs if I spray them and knock them down where I can step on them. This spray is a joke!

Was so hoping it worked as its safe for animals and home. It does absolutly nothing, except create a very strong kind of minty smell that is overwhelming. Does not kill gnats unless you can drown them in it.

Zevo sprays act quickly to kill bugs but the time it takes may vary depending on the size of the bug and the amount of product that contacts it. This is the case for Zevo and for any pest control product. A good tip is to make sure you spray the bug completely with Zevo, especially if it’s a big one! One or two pulls of the trigger on the Multi-Insect Spray or a 1 to 2 second spray with the Aerosol sprays should be enough to handle small the medium size bugs. Make sure the bug gets covered by the Zevo spray to the point where it’s wet. For flying insects we also recommend the Zevo Trap, which attracts and traps flying insects. I think this was the last one left and it was more than half empty! Then when I went to spray it it came out in a trickle. Not even a spray! I'm going to exchange it at the Target in Springfield since I work up here. Very disappointing 😞. I'm also not even sure this really kills the flies. Maybe but not on contact like it claims.

It makes for being on the porch an unpleasant experience. Zevo took care of the problem, without an overpowering smell.

This bottle has a different spray nozzle than the older version. It sprays in a stream instead of a mist making it harder to spray an "area" of flying fruit flies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some fruit flies/gnats in my kitchen, when I was able to directly spray a bug it worked, but it is difficult to do that. Also, the spray is not an aerosol spray so the spray comes out dense and doesn't spread very far.

I had a birthday party at my house and with the constant opening and closing of the back door we got some flies inside of the house (hate them 🤢). I used zevo and it worked perfectly fine. I have little ones so to me using products without a strong smell it’s a plus. It’s effective and it doesn’t have the harsh smell other products have!
