i wantedt to love this stuff but it is streaky and leaves your skin itchy and orange

i loveeeeeee this self tan!!! i have tried both the medium and the dark. i have always left it on for 12+ hours even though it says 4. the one thing i dont like is i feel very and sticky after i apply it, but it smells good. i love how it is clear and doesnt stain anything and the smell also doesnt transfer unless you’re like rubbing yourself onto something.

Favorite self tanner, doesn’t leave you orange or splotchy. Although I bought a new bottle and used it on my face, as normal, and my face got red rashes and little bumps on my cheeks. I do not recommend using it on your face. But looks amazing on the body!

This is the best self tailing mousse on the market. No streaks and great color.

Sooo long lasting. Natural color, but does take awhile to develop. Even though it says “fast” I leave it on for 12+ hours

I really wanted to like this self tan more... Pros: - Don't have to wash off because there's no bronzer and it goes on clear - Color is okay, does not appear too unnatural Cons: - If unexperienced the lack of bronzer could lead to uneven application - Color does not last very long, only a few days Overall this product is just okay. It would be fine to use in a pinch but it doesn't compete again my tried and true Ulta Express Mousse

Can’t say enough about this tanner! I use it all year in different shades. I love that it goes on clear and doesn’t require washing off. I think the color looks really natural and I have pretty fair skin. Love the price too

I've been using this tanning mousse for a few summers and it's the best. It applies and spreads evenly easily. After applying to my dry skin I use my current favorite lotion and my legs turn out perfect every time. Like with any self tanner it's necessary to wash your hands afterwards.

If you pay attention to a review - it should be this one. I was so skeptical after reading some of these confusing or negative reviews below! But this medium clear mousse turned out amazing! Here's what I did: exfoliate in shower, lotion, wait 20 minutes to ensure lotion is dry. Apply mousse with a mitt pretty generously, make sure it's evenly spread out in circle motions. Stay naked for 20 minutes. Then wore a loose T-shirt for 2.5 hours while cleaning the house, then showered off. In the morning it was even darker! I noticed two spots I missed so do it 2 days before a trip so you can fix those areas! Yes it can be a little tacky until you shower off but it's no big deal!

The worst self tanner I’ve ever used. It goes on clear so you have no idea where you’ve put it. However, that doesn’t matter at all because you will never turn even the slightest bit tan. I got zero color from this after spending hours feeling sticky and smelly trying to keep it on to “develop” I’ve used many brands of self tanner and this is easily the worst.

I’m fair-skinned and the light gives me a subtle tan without any orange tones. I have used this for years and love it! It goes on clear and slowly develops. I apply it with a tanning mitt I purchased from Amazon. Doesn’t feel sticky and doesn’t rub off on my clothes/bedding.

I absolutely love this product. I’ve used it for the last couple of years and have tried each shade. My favorite things about this product is that 1. It doesn’t transfer onto my bedsheets or pajamas once applied to skin before bed. 2. The seamless glide across the skin is perfect, it’s smooth, my skin feels hydrated after using it and I feel like it is evenly dispersed on skin. 3. Price is perfect, I can get a handful of uses out of one bottle. 4. I don’t feel like the color makes me look orange, I have very light skin tone, with some peachy undertones and I feel like it really makes my skin glow. Each shade I feel like can be used around the year. I highly recommend before putting this self tanner on or any other kind that you take care of your skin first to set your tan up for longevity. Keep hydrated, dry brush before showing, scrub your body and don’t forget your feet! Make sure once you’ve applied the tanner and you’re ready to wash it off for the perfect color that you are hydrating your skin with lotion or body oil. Keeping moisturized will make your tan last longer. I highly recommend this product!

I absolutely love this product. I love the glow the Light Tanologist gives. It is perfect for the girlies looking for a light color glow or if you have very fair skin. I find it gentle enough to use on my face, and have seen no negative skin changes after using even with sensitive skin. It blends well leaving no streaks and looks fabulous.

Deep natural-looking tan developed overnight but faded within 48 hours. Skin was also really dry for the next few days after applying.

For a lower cost self tanner option, I love this one. Smells really good. I have a love hate with the fact that I can’t see any color from it immediately after applying. It’s nice to have the guide color but I love being able to go out and about right after I put it on.

This stuff is the best doesn’t smell, goes on easy, SO great I use it for every wedding I’m in! I get rave reviews of how it looks all the time and ALL my friends have started using it. You definitely have to practice your technique a little since it goes on clear but it truly doesn’t get on anything I sleep in it all the time! (Of course don’t wear your favorite white pants before you wash it off) and when it starts to come off it’s not in a streaking or “horrid way” it just sort of goes away! for reference - I am pale light eyes with bright blonde hair!

Love this!!! It is very subtle so only get the light shade if you’re fair skin. I’m fair skinned but my arms have gotten quite tan (for me 😂) so far this summer. I had a dress a needed to wear that showed how bad my tan lines were, so I bought this to try to even myself out on chest/shoulders/upper back. I stayed up for 4 hours with no noticeable color change so I just went to bed and when I woke up def subtle tan/glow as described. It was enough to mostly even my chest/from shoulders out, but def needed medium for the back. Also be sure to exfoliate 24 hours in advanced like it says, I didn’t because I didn’t have enough time so I just exfoliated my chest in the shower then applied. It burned then this morning woke up in a rash but only where I exfoliated. I used the ecotools body blender self tan brush because my target didn’t carry the tanlogist brush or mitt in store. The ecotools worked like a charm! I’ve never had good luck with self tan products being even so I def would buy this again, but you have to be prepared to leave on for about 8 hours at least. Also if I was doing this on my whole body I would have gotten the tinted kind there is no way I could use this on my whole body without a color guard. .
