[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MIYABI Koh Santoku Knife is my first Japanese knife. It is exceptionally sharp, beautiful, light (106g), and easy to handle. It is small enough to be transported and large enough to be used on a daily basis. The ergonomic handle design has a comfortable and secure grip. Straight out of the box, its edge makes slicing through any ingredient effortless. It is precise and clean cuts every time. The blade and the elegant handle make this knife a stunning addition to my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love santoku knives, and this one that came in my zwilling pro 8 piece knife block set is a workhorse. It's smaller than other santokus I've used but that gives me control I need to make cutting onions and other things a breeze.

If you are looking for an entry level Japanese knife this is a good one to try. The Miyabi Koh, has a traditional Japanese looking handle that will actually fit comfortably in the right or left hand. Unlike a true D shaped handle, it will not roll for lefties. The blade profile is Japanese but the steel is more German in temperament. It is forgiving, will not chip or nick, but can be honed back to sharpness with ease.

The Miyabi Koh line is one of my favorite and the prep knife is one of my most used knives in the kitchen. It is super sharp so can slice, dice, and chop with percision and the smaller size sometimes feels more comfortable in my hand while using, which is very important.

Miyabi Koh has a beautiful mirrored finish and pakkawood handle, which makes for a nice contrast. The blade is thin and ice-hardened, so super-sharp and durable, and will not corrode or chip! Nice to have a 5.5" sometimes, for smaller hands, as it feels more comfortable and easier to grip and handle.

A perfect Santoku Knife for slicing vegetable razor thin. Use it for salads (tomatos, lettuce, peppers etc.) and they slide off the blade easily. Very comfortable handle when cutting large quantities of vegetables.

This MIyabi Evolution 5" Santoku is an Asian style knife, it's neither too small nor too big in my hand. Great for cutting, chopping and slicing food. Hand-honed Honbazuke blade boasts scalpel-like sharpness and comfortably in the hand. It feels the same as the Nakiri and both are must have knife, wide blade helps scoop food from the cutting board. This knife functionality is exceptional!!! It is made and handcrafted in Japan, fabricated from revolutionary FC61 fine carbide steel, Ice-hardened FRIODURx2 blade offers exceptional durability, cutting edge retention, and corrosion resistance. Hand washing is recommended.

Nice smaller sized santoku, this knife will become your go to in the kitchen. Tackles small mincing and chopping projects with ease. Made from FC 61 this knife is extremely chip and corrosion resistant. Feels very light in the hand but is still stable to cut with. The octagon handle has a comfortable shape that feels secure and smooth.
