Abby our Black Lab really likes this food. It was suggested by our vet. No more licking her paws and constant hot spots. This dog food helped our pup. Lots of tail wagging !!

I use this as a mix-in to their dry dog food, which has become very ho-hum in the last year. One of our poodle mixes has an extreme allergy to chicken. Both of them light up as soon as they see Mom opening a packet of this stuff to mix into their dry food. They can't wait, they even "talk" in anticipation of me setting their dishes out for them. A huge WIN for Blue Buffalo!! Please, don't ever discontinue this product!!

I love this food for my pooches. They are full grown and I have one older dog. She really needs to maintain her help. I also think it's great for a dog that has grain allergies and you are trying to find something with no meat no grain no by-products or anything. This stuff works. I recommend it to everyone. I will repurchase. BLUE Basics Grain-Free Salmon and Potato Recipe for Adult Dogs

My dog loves this food! I transitioned him slowly to avoid an upset stomach. I also give him sweet potatoes and fish mixed in. He has a sensitive stomach so this is perfect for him.

After trying so many other dog foods, I am very happy with this one specifically. One of my Chihuahuas has an itching issue that I have seen a huge improvement in after changing to the grain-free food.

Earlier this year we adopted a dog from an animal shelter, and both I and my husband commented that her fur was fairly rough and coarse. However, after a few weeks of eating this food, her coat was supple and shiny! Seeing such a large change was shocking!

I love that they have grain-free. I wish my dogs would eat salmon but they do love the chicken and lamb grain-free. Also you'll realize after a little while your dogs do not itch as much. They have dry coat in the type of food we feed them.

Literally the only dog food that my dog can eat! It’s so good on her sensitive tummy. I have it on automatic order so I don’t even have to worry!

The Blue Buffalo Co Bluetm Basics Grain Free Salmon Potato Recipe For Adult Dogs I have a doberman that gets itchy skin if he eats the wrong thing. Unfortunately it's hard to know what that is. I looked at several sites to see what was recommended. This food cane up several times. I am happy to say it has been great. He has had almost no outbreaks and he has almost entirely stopped licking his belly. I haven't had to give him apoquel in months. I would recommend this food for anyone that has a dog with food allergies.

Both my nine year old labs have been on this food for almost 5 years I want to say and not only have their coats gotten smoother but it has helped controlled their weight. I have this on repeat order with petco. I highly recommend but since it's grain free we provide grian in increments with treats and etc.

Broke college kid - 5 years ago
I have a puggle, and to my surprise he was hypoallergenic. He was having a slight allergic reaction to his other food, which essentially was him licking and biting at his paws making them raw. Being a college student getting an allergy test is SUPER expensive, so after research I discovered Blue Buffalo Basics and let me tell you it’s a relief! His itching has COMPLETELY stopped and his paws are growing their hair back. Thank you blue buffalo!

Our English bulldog loves this food. Since bulldogs lack in the exercise department, having a grain free diet is important for them and this was the one our pup fell in love with.

My fur baby would get rashes on her belly and back everyday. The vet said it was from being outside and frolicking in the grass. I did some research and came across the possibility of food allergy. I decided to switch up her food to chicken protein free and the rashes cleared up! Her fur is much softer and healthier as well.

My pittie has food allergies and I couldn’t find the food he was prescribed, so I ordered this one. I was really concerned that it wouldn’t work, but my dog LOVES the taste & gets really excited when he hears me opening the bag. So far, no allergic reaction & he’s digesting it better than the other food. If it keeps working this well, I’ll definitely be permanently switching to this.
