Q: Is Dawn dish soap certified cruelty free? Leaping bunny or Peta recommended? I only support cruelty free products.
A: Considering how much plastic is needlessly wasted with all these power wash refills, I don’t think they care about the environment. We just refill these with standard dish soap and dilute it with water, it works just the same and we don’t use so much plastic.
submitted byMtMitch - 3 months agoA: Thank you for your question! Dawn products are not tested on animals. We do not test our products or ingredients on animals anywhere in the world unless required by law. At P&G, we believe that eliminating animal testing is the right thing to do. At the same time, ensuring the safety of people who use our products, and the safety of the world we all live in, has been at the heart of P&G activities. That’s why we have invested more than $420 million in developing non-animal testing methods and are continually advocating for their approval by policy makers around the world. Today, we use more than 50 non-animal alternatives, half of which were invented or co-invented by P&G. We will continue working with partners like the Humane Society International and the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to promote the development of new alternatives and advocating for their public use and adoption to eliminate animal testing. For a full review of P&G’s global animal welfare policy and toxicology test alternatives, please visit our web site.

A: Dawn Powerwash Dish spray can be used to clean the exterior of porcelain-enameled steel and stainless steel stoves. However, it has not been tested for cleaning oven interiors, so it should not be used as an oven cleaner.
