Description
CASL Brands' steel, shock-absorbing, outdoor ice breaker tool with an extra-thick blade easily breaks up ice on the sidewalk and driveway for easier and safer driving and walking. A built-in spring cushion in the handle eliminates strain on joints while getting rid of the ice more effectively. The PVC foam grip provides a comfortable, yet sturdy hold while using the chopper to chip away at ice. How can I not have written a review before? THIS ICE CHOPPER IS AWESOME! No, it's not perfect for every ice-chopping task -- do not use it on thick ice (more than three-quarters of an inch thick) -- but when properly used, it will save your wrists and arms and shoulders. It definitely saved me from much pain. I have a northern-exposure sidewalk that gets almost no sunlight in the winter, and this ice chopper is the perfect thing for dealing with that danged sidewalk. Thank you, Target, for offering this item for sale.

Awesome chopper. The PVC foam grip at the top and middle elilminate the cold from the metal handle of the old-fashioned ice choppers. I really hated the cold metal handle more than anything about chopping ice. The shock-absorbing feature does mean less strain on arms, shoulders, etc. The bottom edge is very sharp making it easy to chop. Love it!!!
