if I could give a 0 I would do it... bad product I bought this bed in December, in March i call target because I was already dissatisfied with the product but TARGET is not responsible and manufacturing neither. it's a bed for short term 5 months and it's already trash...

It would be great except why would you ever design a bunk bed that you have to crawl over to get into the bed? There should be an opening for the ladder.

This is a great bed for preteens. My daughter loves the independence of sleeping alone away from her sister. She uses the space underneath for her desk to do her homework and her sister sleeps underneath sometimes just to be close.

Perfect for the space, easy to put together. I put it together with my 11 year old in about an hour from the time we opened the box to the bed being made. My son loves it, we are putting pool noodle pieces around the steps of the ladder to give some padding but otherwise it's great!

I give this bed a four star rating. It took about 2 hours to put it together and my 5 year old absolutely loves it. The only downside is there is no opening at the top of the ladder so your little one has to climb over the railing to get on the bed. It didn't take long to get used to but for those on the smaller side, it may be an issue. The instructions were clear and all pieces were labeled.

This loft is great! It's sleek and minimal. I love the placement of the ladders on the sides instead of blocking space in the front. We set this up over my 9 year old's bed as a reading nook, so ladder placement was important. It's fairly sturdy, but does wobble a bit. It comes with brackets to attach to the wall, but the movement from just climbing the ladder would wiggle screws loose, and likely pull butterflies out of drywall. So unless your loft lines up perfectly with the studs in your wall, it's unlikely to correctly secure it. That said, I'm not worried about it tipping over. It was easy to put together. Be sure you build it where you need it and create enough room to stand it upright. That was the trickiest part for us. Can't beat the price!

While I love the style of this bed, I do wish the guardrails were a tad higher than they are. It also feels a little too wobbly for my liking and it was put together by someone who really knew what they were doing. I would suggest mounting it to the wall so it doesn't fall.

I'd give it 3.5 stars if the system let me. Works for the purpose, the price (I think I had it on a small sale) wasn't horrible. But seems a little rickety for when my small 9 year old son climbs up. I do not feel confident that we'll have it long, when he gets a few years older I foresee needing to find a more sturdy option. Very heavy box, two person carry, two person assembly.

Delivery & installation went without incident. This bed is very sturdy and a good value. Although my son wanted it to have a desk we opted to get this one without any options underneath so we can design ourselves with other furniture. Only complaint we have about the design of this bed is that there is no opening to the mattress once you climb the ladders. My son complains about having to climb over the rails to get onto the bed. I have done it myself to change the sheets and it is annoying and inconvenient. Because of this flaw I would recommend that another parent to look at a loft bed that has the opening.

Great for the price. Came in a good package delivered to the door (no hauling it yourself). Easy to assemble solo (yes there are many parts and it takes a little time but simple and straightforward). Recommend uou have a larger harder tool, like a wrench, handy for pushing in the plastic parts. Once it was assembled holds uo well.

This bed would be attractive and provide a good space solution, if it weren't for the fact that getting into it is painful and dangerous. The ladder rungs are narrow and don't feel nice on the feet, and the entire unit wobbles frighteningly as you climb. And once you get to the top, you have to climb over a high railing without any entrance gap. And even if those aspects weren't a problem, I'd still be dissatisfied because my unit arrived with lots of damage. The plastic snap-in center supports are a joke: about 1/3 of them were snapped when I opened the box. One of the plastic end caps to the corner posts was also snapped, and one of the side rails arrived with a bend in the center that was just subtle enough not to be obvious until I tried and failed to install it. And now the unit is assembled, so taking it apart and trying to return it would be a genuine and probably literal headache. I really regret this purchase! I would like to prevent you from having similar feelings. Don't buy it!
