Q: Would this stand work for a laptop?

A: This adjustable keyboard stand can be used with a laptop. We make another similar stand that's designed for use with laptops - check out WorkEZ Best on Target. The main differneces are that the WorkEZ Keyboard Tray has a slightly wider panel and the mouse pad connects in a different position that's designed to align with a keyboard. Both products are made of aluminum, will cool your laptop, and adjust to a myriad of positions to comfortably hold your device just about anywhere - in bed, on the couch, sitting at a desk, or even standing.

Q: is the mouse pad part removable? Also, do the bottom legs fit around your lap if needed?

A: Yes, the mouse pad is removable. The stand is not intended for lap use, but could fit around your lap if you're a smaller framed individual.

I like that it has 3 points of adjustment on the leg. Wish it was more sturdier especially the base, cause that’s where all the weight sits. It wobbles a bit.

This thing works great! I got it for my iPad so when I sit in the chair in the livingroom I don’t strain my neck by looking down.

Bought this thinking I could easily switch from a desk to standing option with my laptop. Wrong. You have to separately engage six different buttons to change the configuration. I think the description of how it functions is misleading.

I love this. It came assembled and is lightweight, easy to adjust and seems stable when I'm typing on it. (Mostly I use an external keyboard). I was so happy to find it at Target since other online stores had a much longer shipping time and it's harder to return if it doesn't work out. Be sure to read the enclosed instructions as the tips are helpful.
