A: Currently, the FDA has not issued a final rule on gluten content in drug products. However, the product has been tested and falls below the <20 ppm gluten guidelines. We do not use gluten sources in any of the products made on the line to manufacture this product. I bought this bottle because it was $2 cheaper than the regular. Big mistake. I completely know that DayQuil and medicine can taste unpleasant and is hard to swallow. But THIS has been the worst experience ever. It not only tasted awful, but I had a burning stomachache and started panicking because I could also feel the intense burning in my chest. I’m not allergic to honey or Vicks. I couldn’t sit with the discomfort for more than 15 min and had to vomit and the burning and stomach ache went away. I’m too scared to try this product again. Do not buy.

Absolutely terrible taste. Immediately after taking it I got severe stomach pains/burning and combined with the taste one dose was enough. I will be throwing this almost full bottle away. Would not recommend at all

Where do I start? I had the absolute worst experience with this NyQuil and DayQuil. I regrettably did not read all the reviews and only read the paid promotion reviews - I will NEVER make this mistake again -. Truly I have come to warn anyone who desires to buy this type of medicine. I took a total of 7 doses of DayQuil (Honey Flavor) and 3 doses of NyQuil (Honey Flavor) before I had to give up. First of all, It didn’t NOT heal me. only made me “less” sick while also simultaneously giving me ADDITIONAL SYMPTOMS such as a dry throat, dry nose, and the worst stomach ache and pains of my LIFE! Finally, the flavor is absolutely disgusting. They advertise “Honey” so I assumed it would be sweet which would have been a nice break BUT NO THIS WAS NOTHING LIKE HONEY. If I could go back in time and prevent myself from buying this I 100% would. Please do yourself an incredible favor and buy the regular DayQuil/NyQuil. Just whatever you do, stay away from this.

This was the most foul tasting medicine I’ve ever taken. I almost puked after taking it. Save yourself and just take the regular DayQuil medicine. I didn’t even notice a difference in how it treated my symptoms compared to the traditional DayQuil.

Taste: horrible. As a RN I think this is a good feature to dissuade incorrect use. Symptom management: effective To manage the disgusting taste I swallow very quickly, then gargle immediately with warm salt water.
Works if you can keep it down after the horrible awful taste!

I know medicine isn't supposed to be appetizing and that taste is subjective, but this is the most foul-tasting syrup I've ever had in my life. Like horrible honey-flavored pond water. I spent $12 on this and am desperate to feel better so I will finish the bottle, but I will never, ever buy this again.

THIS TASTES TERRIBLE! Whatever you’re expecting, I promise you will NOT be ready for the nastiness of this. It almost tastes like artificial honey flavor. I wish I could describe it better but I can’t, it’s just awful. I was literally gagging. Try at your OWN RISK lol.

Disgusting! I've never had a medicine so nasty I had to hype myself up to take it. Whoever formulated this has clearly never tasted honey in their life. It took me a year to finish this because it was the last resort medicine. I felt like how kids act with medicine taking this. I can't not recommend this enough. Even the smell would cause me to gag.

Absolutely disgusting taste. I don’t normally leave reviews and usually not very picky about taste but this stuff is just horrible. I can’t believe how many people actually like this stuff. I’ve been trying to finish the bottle off, but every time it gets harder to not immediately throw it back up after drinking it. Original DayQuil is fine, but this stuff made me feel worse. Unfortunately it was the only flavor offered for Target pickup but I won’t make that mistake again. It will also turn your irons neon yellow. Absolutely do not recommend.

The taste was strong at first, but I started liking it the more I had to take it. It tastes like honey and I like honey, but taste is subjective. Works as well as any other Day/Nyquil
