Bearpaw Women's Boshie Wide Boots

I purchased a similar pair of boots many years ago. It was time to retire them. I was so pleased with those boots that I knew that happily purchased a similar pair. I have not yet used the new boots. My evaluation below is for the previous pair, I purchased my first pair at the recommendation of another satisfied customer.

My original pair of Bearpaws for wide calves (different make) is starting to wear out after 5 winters. I found a wide pair I liked, and bought it in the same size. No issues at all! These boots actually fit those of us with wide calves (and feet). I really appreciate that the ankle tapers in a bit, instead of being the same diameter as the leg shaft. The waterproofing and stain-resistance has worked so far. I like that they're real fur and leather, which is much better for the environment than faux. The wool inside is so cozy and keeps my feet warm without overheating. It's going to be very cold where I live over the next few days - high temps in the teens - so I guess the real test is coming. If you're on the fence about these, just buy them.

These last forever! Not only are they super comfortable but they hold up. I've had them for 4 years. I have extra wide calves and these slide on with no problem

Very comfy, and cute! However, I liked Eloise better and kept it instead. Boshie is a little bulkier looking on my foot and had a small amount of sag at the ankle. Still very cute though. Both styles worked great for my calves. I'm short, only 5'2" which means my calf starts nearer the ground than a tall gal's! So boots are often too narrow in the shaft. Not these. If you have athletic calves or you're short like me, give these and also try Eloise!

Boots are beautiful! So comfortable. Shipping took forever tho.

I have been wearing these daily since I got them. No break in period necessary and I don't feel the need to kick off my boots as soon as I walk thru the door like usual, Probably because they feel like clouds. I have bunions and tendonitis in my ankles, but the fit is perfect for me. Love them!

Cute and comfy but not for wide calf people. Since they were wide fit I was hoping they would be wider in the calf area. Support mentioned these boots have wider calves but not enough to call it a wide calf boot. I have at my widest point a 21in calf and i could physically put these boots on but they would slouch down while walking since there was no wiggle room. Maybe if you have a 18in calf or smaller they would fit properly

I have these boots at least 3 years. They were my first pair. I bought to wear in snow and due to price. They are so warm and very comfortable. Now I have 6 pairs just different styles. The price is so much better then other boots and they come sprayed. Bought my mom, daughter and friend some for Christmas.

I am so please with my boots. They feel so warm on my feet. I wear wool socks with them. Before I put them on my feet. They are a wonderful fit. I have plenty of room to wiggle my toes. The boots are warm and cuddly to your feet and if you need a wide width or have bunions (like me), this is the perfect boot!
