To create a babyprint, make sure the ink is facing down on the included white cards and press your baby's hand or foot onto the clean-touch ink pad. Your baby’s tiny prints will be left on the cards without any ink on baby! Let dry for 24-48 hours. Clean-touch ink pad is good for two-time use maximum, recommended for newborns only. Ink pads will accommodate hand/feet up to 2.25” wide x 3.5” long. They’ll love growing up with this sweet reminder of just how tiny their little feet once were! It's a nice classic and gender neutral baby book and the quality is definitely there, it's just that I wasn't in love with some of the page prompts. I didn't feel like there were enough pages for photos and I wish there were more baby milestone pages and fewer relating to the pregnancy (e.g. I didn't have a baby shower or a registry so these are just wasted unused pages for me) I also wish the family tree was a bit more modifiable. It's so common to have very involved step (grand) parents, non-hetero parents, etc now a days but there's no way to include that here. In the end, this is still a very cute baby book that looks and feels durable and classic
