However, the mill that produces the MDF material for this item has been certified by a 3rd party testing company as compliant with California 93120 Phase 2 and Title VI of the Toxic Substances Control Act formaldehyde regulations. We recommend either wiping down the entire product with a damp cloth a few times, or if you have a garage to place the item in, place it in there for a couple days to air out.
