Vital Proteins Marine Collagen Dietary Supplement

I am submitting same review as RJ. I use a Tablespoon to measure the marine powder, and it is not even close to 18 servings, only 9. Ridiculously expensive. I haven’t noticed any changes in the 9 days so am going to look elsewhere for collagen.

I use this everyday. I put it in my coffee. It has no taste at all and it's a great way to get in my collagen

When I open the product it's half full of air!! Unbelievable. The design of opening the item also breaks off all the time as well.

After hearing all the hype about this stuff and doing some research with ingredients I figured what the heck and decided to buy a container and see what the fuss was about and boy... I am NOT happy. I barely ever write reviews but this time I had to. I bought a container of the marine collagen on January 29, 2025, I dug out my trusty tbsp measuring spoon and started taking it on January 30, 2025. Today Is Feb 8, 2025 and my container is empty. How, after taking a 3tbsp serving daily, do I now have an empty container that was supposed to last me 18 days?? It's only been 9 days?!?! I've spent all that money for nine days.... For a product that is supposed to show results in weeks, how can I evaluate if this stuff works with this little amount? Someone either needs to fix the container to correct the dosages or fix the containers to contain the correct amount of product to fit the dosages requirements.

I have taken this product for a number of years and have been very satisfied, but now realize that the dosing has changed and the value is becoming too expensive for me to use. Also, the packaging is horrible, and I would look for a different product just for this reason. I should not have to fight for 20 minutes to try to get open the product

Love the product but the new packaging is absurd. Person who designed it should be fired. If you can’t do better then I will find another company’s product that I can actually open.

I used the original collagen for 6 months and had good results but it upset my stomach so I switched to marine. I tolerate it better, but see none of the benefits I saw with the original collagen.

I get irritated that companies want reviews immediately. Seeing results from taking collagen, from what I have researched, can take a minimum of 3 months. I have just started taking this. All I can say is that I like the fact that the collagen comes from cod, and I like the taste. I hope I’ll see results in a few months.

Repackaging stinks! Not user friendly. It was difficult to lift up the tab. The top pushes back, but it's not secure as it can easily pop open. Also, the scooper was not included. I will not buy this product again with the new packaging.

Not sure if its efficacy yet, but my container only had enough for 13 servings, which is nearly 1/3 less than expected. For the price, this is unacceptable. Will look elsewhere.

They changed the serving. It used to be 2 scoops for 11g of protein. Now it’s 3. Too expensive for one container.

I used to love this product and had used this for more than 2 years. However, it is not worth the money anymore. One container only lasts about ~10 days, super expensive. Also it is not convenient without a scoop, especially while traveling. I switched to another brand.

I guess the company saved a dime by changing the container to card board . I’ve used this product for years but I will be looking for a new one. The new container is impossible to open and the lid will not stay on.

I’ve been using the marine collagen for quite a while now. Similar to another reviewer, I’m extremely baffled at why Vital Proteins took the convenient blue scoop away. The packaging waste is atrocious, yet they are claiming to save the environment by removing the scoop. I rely heavily on that little scoop, especially when taking this to the office or when traveling. Please give the scoop back!

After trying both bovine and marine collagen, I've found this one to be my favorite. However, it can be pricey and sometimes challenging to find. Nevertheless, I've observed a remarkable improvement in my hair and nails. I've used both the packets and the canister, and I appreciate that the collagen is tasteless and blends seamlessly in hot coffee. The packets are especially convenient for travel.

this product only gives you 3 weeks not a months worth

I really love this product. I'm in my mid 50ths and I don't look my age. I had a coworker give me a compliment how youthful I look. My skin, nails and hair feel and look great.

Love it, but please bring back the plastic scoop! Trust me, I am very environmentally conscious but we need the scoop back. Using the new instructions I definitely feel like the serving size is larger now. Otherwise, great tasteless collagen that I do love!

No scoop provided like before to measure product. I get it less plastic. But why is the plastic container nearly double the size of the product inside? Make a smaller container and give us back the scoop. It went from 2 scoops per serving to now 3 scoops per serving. Also does not last as long as stated. I only use 2 level Tablespoons. Not the 3 it suggests. Expensive product to not get a full 30 days out of. Not sure I would recommend. You do not see results right away so it’s a product that is incorporated into your daily life long term. If you are not budget conscious then go for it, but for those of us that are, there are better options. A huge plus is there is no flavor or aftertaste. I don’t notice it in my coffee at all. In fact I think it makes my coffee creamer.

I love this product and have been using it for years. 2 scoops in my morning coffee without fail, even when traveling. However, I give it 4 stars because this "save the environment" deal of leaving out the scoop and the plastic security strip makes no sense. Instead, why don't you put it in a container that fits the contents and bring back the scoop...Just sayin'..... And yes I know that the product settles so you need room but come on....surely you can "test" that and come up with a smaller plastic container with the SAME amount of contents? Otherwise it is a great product!
