About the Author

Kwame Mbalia is a husband, father, New York Times bestselling author, and former pharmaceutical metrologist, in that order. His debut middle-grade novel, TRISTAN STRONG PUNCHES A HOLE IN THE SKY, and the sequel, TRISTAN STRONG DESTROYS THE WORLD (October 6, 2020), are published by Rick Riordan Presents/Disney-Hyperion. I purchased for my ten year old grandson and he is really enjoying reading the book until he takes it to school so he can read on his time. I am very pleased that Target carries an array of children's books.

Joy can be found in everything

Each story inside the story is full of love, heartache, growth, swag and joy. That joy might be something as small as having the perfect outfit or as big sharing who you really are and being accepted. The families and friends in each story have so much love. This book was a delight to read. I received an advanced copy of the book from NetGalley for review.
