mDesign Bamboo Freestanding Double Laundry Basket Hamper Organizer

Part of the structure broke under the weight of my laundry ☹️ Otherwise, it was relatively easy to put together. I'm happy with the design. I just wish it was more sturdy.

First frustration was this took almost a month to arrive with no tracking available. Second, although it was super easy to assemble, I was disappointed to see how misleading Target’s photo depicted the item. Look at how short the bags are.

Great size for my elongated bathroom. It doesn’t make my bathroom feel cramped up, holds a very large amount of laundry because it’s fabric that can stretch. I’ve had it for 2 years now and still in great shape.

Fairly decent for the price / a little wobbly and flimsy but for $60 it does the job pretty well!

Its not the most sturdy and don’t think it will last forever. But it’s what I was looking for and for the price I will get my moneys worth

I bought TWO of these hampers and I am so frustrated! Assembly effort was seriously misleading to say the least! This price point should never present the customer with such a mess to put together. The instructions are an embarrassing example of how the company operates! I have a pile of wood sitting on my floor and if you are thinking of purchasing please look around and you will find a better product!!!!!!!

Really easy to put together, study enough to store things on top. I was worried about bag capacity, but they're bigger than they look. I do really wish there was a mechanism to make the bags stay on the track unless you're taking them out on purpose. Even a little bump would go a long way. My cat pulled one out onto himself as soon as it was upright and he's not even a cupboard opener. I imagine it'd be worse with little kids.

It's exactly what I was looking for and took less time to build than it took the pasta to cook for dinner!

Easy assembly, great design, roomy baskets.

Loved this. Arrived with a piece broken that made it harder to push in. In I asked for the little piece to be shipped and they asked me to return it. After putting the thing together who wants to break it down to return it. Then one of the rails to hold up the bin broke off like week 2. It was empty at the time. So the construction is poor. I wouldn’t recommend. For this price it won’t last.

one of the "B" pieces is is two inches longer than the other. Manufacturing error.

The mixed reviews had me worried but I loved the style so gave it a shot. It was easy to put together, is sturdy and looks great. The bins slide in and out with ease and I like that you can place things on top. The fabric is very stiff and almost tarp-like. If I was to change anything it would be that but it does hold its shape well. I’m happy I got it.

Assembly was immensely easy! The unit is very stable and provides dual storage sorting. The bamboo material is amazing! This is such a great piece!

Took 15 minutes to fully assemble; only four screws to attach legs (sides) to lower crossbars and 4 bolts to connect to the upper table/shelf. Pick which sides of wood look best and put them outward, don't tighten everything until the end, and be careful not to bend the wood with screws/bolts in them before tightening the whole thing. Looks good, but very simple design means we may find we need to add an additional crossbar at the back and/or bottom in the future. Given the limited fasteners involved, I'm sure you could presently break it by leaning too hard from the side top, but ours seems sturdy enough for now. Rack & bags a little smaller than I expected so measure to see if it fits your needs. Velcro on bags holding full load at the moment, but Velcro installed a bit crooked, so no full "bite" across Velcro. There's no backstop for sliding handles so if it's flush up against a wall you could ding the wall sliding it back in. Finally, I imagine we won't be removing the Velcro bags from sliders as this seems too inconvenient, especially to reattach each time. We'll keep it, but it should be $40-$50 max, not $60.

The pieces of wood have little splinters all over the edges which I wasn’t expecting so I got 2 splinters in my hand as I was taking pieces out of the box. I tried to clean them all off but my little one was just putting her clothes in and managed to get a splinter while holding the side. Also, this hamper does not feel very sturdy. In my opinion this was not worth $60.

It’s sturdy and fits in my laundry space perfect. Very easy to assemble and is so cute.

Not Happy will not order this again

This laundry hamper was easy to assemble, it feels like really good quality bamboo frame and sturdy fabric bags. It’s makes my bathroom look and feel very organized and clean. Plus it’s an extra surface, bonus! But I have only used it for a week so I’m not sure if I will have the same complaints as the other reviews, but so far the bags are full of clothes and the Velcro is holding fine. It’s a little creaky when I pull the bags out, so we’ll see how it holds up. But so far so good.

This is pretty wobbly and the middle piece feels like it's going to break each time I pull out one of the hamper bags. Additionally, the hamper bags may be deep enough for quite a bit of laundry, but the velcro keeps coming undone. I love the idea of this hamper but it's constructed with very cheap materials.
