Infused with a Silkscreen Complex, Witch Hazel, Salicylic Acid, + Zinc. I'm really enjoying this primer. I'm not a big fan of matte finishes but this isn't overly matter, I'd say it's more in between satin and matte. It's very soft and silky smooth and does a decent job of minimizing pores. A little bit goes a long way. Makeup applies well over it and doesn't pill or separate. Overall I'm happy with how it performs and I'd recommend this primer!

I have been using this primer for years since its release and no other primer has yet strayed me from it! Its finish is mattifying, lasts me about 8 hours before any oil peeks through my makeup. It is unscented. My only gripe is the packaging makes it hard to get what is left when the product is low. But I make a way haha!

I'm 77 but still have oily skin. Smashbox Photo Finish Oil and Shine Control has been wonderful over the years, but I can no longer find it. I tried Photo Finish Control Mattifying primer with Salicylic Acid and was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. It doesn't control oil AT ALL, plus it causes my makeup to gather in my wrinkles.

I bought this product and used it for 60 days and let me just be very honest. if you want a flawless base that won't show any shine for hours where applied, if you want a poreless look and many compliments on your base I recommend getting this in the cart ASAP!

When I say this worked it’s because it really did. I tried to find me a good drugstore primer for oily skin but none were working. At the end I had to spend a lil more but it truly worked! I was giving up hope and accepting I’m just a big oily mess but this changed that. Spent a day at the LA county fair and at the end of the day my makeup was still on and I had little to no shine! (With no touchups throughout either) Bought the sample size but I will def be buying the full size when it’s done. Definitely worth the price in my opinion

This stuff does help conceal my redness on my cheeks and my chin due to acne. I like using this with another primer as it doesn't seem to be the best at making my foundation stay.

I’ve been using Estée Lauder mattifying primer for years. I was a little skeptical to try something new, however I think I might have found my new go to primer! My makeup stayed in place all day and looked as if I had just applied it just as I did that morning.

I just recently got this primer & instantly fell in love with it! It feels very lightweight on the skin & rubs in very easily! It's a great base if you have oily skin because it helps control your oils!

I've been using this primer for YEARS (back when the packaging was still light blue) and haven't found anything that compares. I have very oily skin and this primer prevents me from looking like an oil slick halfway through my day. It also doesn't feel drying or stripping on my skin and lays nicely under my makeup. I even use it on days when I'm not wearing face makeup for oil control! Even though it is on the pricier side, a little goes a long way and I will never regret spending the extra money on this primer!

Used this about 2-3 times now and I like it a lot! The consistency of the product is light so it feels really good on my face, and works great to give that matte finish look. The only downfall I have with it is I feel like I have to use a lot of product to cover my base with my face and neck compared to other primers I've used.

I got this sample in the mail from Smashbox to try on. I apply this on my nose and forehead as it's where I oil up easily. It has a silky feel and texture that glides smoothly on my skin (silicone-based). I can't say it definitely helps my makeup (t-zone) stay longer coz I also use setting powder and setting spray but maybe it helps some. I still oil up but it's not excessive. It's not something that I reach for often though. I think I prefer the lotion type of texture for my primer.

Using urban decay setting powder this foundation stays on all day and is the first one to not completely disappear in my dry skin. I will say that without that setting powder, my problem areas seem to "suck up" the makeup but this has been the best makeup in 10 years!

Bought this instead of the discontinued Oil & Shine Control Primer. It works, but not as good and doesn't last nearly as long as the discontinued version. Please bring back the old one! :(

I recently received a free sample of this in the mail after seeing a free pop up ad on Facebook and Instagram. I was able to choose which one I wanted to try out. I wanted to try out this one and some others,like a hydrating or matte one. But, I really wanted to try this one out. Can't wait to try it out soon! Hope it covers up my redness!

This new formula doesn't cover redness or my pores. The old formula was my "go to" product. My daughter and my mom also used it. But all three of us agree this new formula is just sub par. We won't be buying it again until you go back to original formula.
