50"x60" Diamond Throw Blanket - Design Imports

A used item. This was not listed as a third party seller, but seems to be. It was meant to be a gift, but I received a smelly ( perfume plus mold odor) blanket with no tags, nothing. It was thrown in a plastic bag, and shipped in a poly mailer. If Indidnt know better, I’d have thought it was a mistake like a preowned eBay purchase only I bought this from Target. Come on Target do better- maybe screen where you are sourcing products from, or at least make it clear you are ordering from a reseller who is shipping things from their basement. GROSS

Looks nice, but it has strange odor that smells like a combination of musty basement and twice-baked fabric softener. The odor dimished very slightly after 3 washes (detergent, then vinegar, then oxy-bleach), but still not enough for the blanket to be usable indoors. I'm guessing it's some type of chemical treatment for the cotton. The blanket is fairly light and thin and might be useful outdoors, assuming you can tolerate the odor. The blanket also shed enough fibers in the wash to make a small sweater (do NOT wash this with anything else in the drum) and left an inch-thick layer of lint in the trap. As expected, it shrank quite a bit and is closer to 48" x 52".

Arrived moldy. Returned immediately

It looks fine, but it smells weird and I can’t get past it. I am probably going to use it when I’m sitting outside by the fire since it already stinks.

It’s pretty warm as a blanket but it’s not super soft. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cute decor piece.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This white diamond throw is a decent throw blanket. The material that it is made from is very light weight and thin. Because of this, it doesn't work well as an actually blanket, but I use it on the couch as decoration and to protect the top of the couch from starch marks due to my cat running across the top of my couch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this to actually bring in the car for warmth in my lap! My car does a good job of warming the upper body and feet but not the mid-section. It folds up nicely and even when it’s warm I still use it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This throw is well made the color is a cream/beige it goes with everything. I love how it’s neutral and will go with any home and decor. This throw is not to heavy and not to light it’s perfect. It is also big enough for my whole body and not too short where my feet hang out of it. Great little throw for me to use to keep warm and to look good on the back of a couch or chair.

So I wanted a neutral and warm, textured throw blanket that would look nice folded on the back of our new couch. This blanket is the perfect size for throwing over your legs for a little extra warmth. And it's the perfect size to cover my small child during nap time. It isn't heavy but it isn't too lightweight either. It's the perfect weight.

When I look for a throw blanket, I'd like it to be soft and cozy. I didn't quite get that feeling with this blanket. It is nice for show though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got to try the DII White Diamond Throw and absolutely love it. It is a lightweight throw great for decorating or keeping you warm. It’s more like a beige color not truly white. It is medium sized. Has a beautiful diamond pattern all over and the tassels give it an extra pretty touch. Overall this is a beautiful throw that I will enjoy for a long time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love a light weight blanket that's cozy without feeling too heavy and warm. I love the pattern because it's easy to match with my other linens and furniture. The only downside is that the threads do snag kind of easily.

I was hoping it would also be comfortable enough to use when it's cold, but the material is just really scratchy and uncomfortable for me. If you're not wearing shorts though, and just wearing pants, you feel the scratchiness less, so it's still useable. If the blanket was more comfortable, I would give it 5 stars!
