Keeping my barn cats safe and happy!

My barn cats thank you for this product! The barn cats and my guardian dogs would drink out of the goat trough during the winter. I had a deicer in the goat trough (not from this amazing company). That deicer shocked my LGD and electrocuted a barn kitten. On that day I went searching for a heated water bowl to keep the kitties healthy and safe! I am extremely happy with this bowl! It’s is big enough for the LGDs and the barn cats! Thank you K&H! I found you through tears and sorrow. Now I am confident my animals are safe and have water to drink in the winter! I am grateful you supply these items and at a very good price! I will be purchasing more in the future!

I have had this bowl for many, many years, outside and never once froze over solid. K&H makes such quality products I never have a concern about safety for my kitties. My bowl has finally gotten to the stage of it's time to get a new one. I haven't wanted to get a new one because you know - cats and change, but it's time.

I purchased this bowl to provide warm water for the stray cats we care for and it works as advertised. The water stays warm in cold weather so they don't have to drink ice cold water. It's well worth the purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this watered in my chicken coop. It is great for making sure my birds have unfrozen drinkable water all winter long.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my pup loves to spend her time outside, but it gets cold unexpectedly and the weather in Ohio changes daily. this has given me some peace of mind to let my pup play outside while I'm at work and make sure she has an unfrozen water bowl and a place to sleep.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like a great idea, but my dogs do not care. They continue to drink out of the pool no matter what we do. It does it’s job though so I’m not gonna review it poorly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actual got this for my duck. She needs access to dunk her head to groom but in the winter it is a pain in the butt trying to get the ice out and then it trashed the grass cause it melts so much slower than the snow. This gives her access to water all day and doesn’t require me to spend 45 minutes outside freezing my butt off. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have an older one of these bowls that is still kicking. We have indoor/outdoor cats and this keeps the water from freezing on very cold nights so we don’t have to worry about the cats not having access to water. Love the wrapped cord to keep any animals from chewing on it and even a small slot so the cord runs out from the bottom without tilting the bowl. Also the cord wraps up really nice in the bottom of the bowl for storage during the summer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I plugged it in for like an hour and it didn’t heat up the water even a little bit. Also the bowl is HUGE. My 4lb Morkie can sit in it with some room to spare. Well at least it was free
Such a useful item!

Only reason for a 4 is it needs an on / off switch. Feeding a feral and only need this on for an hour or two to keep canned food warm. I bought a remote so I can turn this off when not needed. I use my own bowl and put it inside this (would be nice if it had an insert for easy cleaning) - with snow it would be too difficult to unplug and bring in and wash each day. It’s 0 F this morning and her food is warm.

It works well. I use it in my chicken enclosure for 9 chickens. Because of it's small size I have to top it off twice daily. The next size up is quite a bit larger (too large). I wish they made something in between.
Good Value Heated Bowl for Outdoor Pets

This heated pet bowl is superior for a dependable heated bowl that is a value purchase. K and H is ver safety conscious with the chew proof cord. The bowl works in freezing temperatures, but needs to be shielded from the wind in MN sub zero temperatures. Pets should not be outside when it gets below freezing but unfortunately stray kitties don't have an indoor option. So, I rely on K and H heated bowls and pads along with great shelters (Kitty Tube and Feravilla) to provide shelter for unfortunate kitties. K and H thermal cafe is a better option if you change out the water twice a day; the thermal cafe had removable metal bowls that are easy to clean and refill with fresh water. An improvement on this value purchase would be a removable bowl and I would pay extra for that. The thermal cafe comes with 2 heated stations with bowls. A third heated bowl works well when I want to put out hard and wet food to keep them warm. This bowl is more difficult to use as have to unplug to clean and refill with water. But it is value priced. Love K and H products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying this is a very well made dog bowl. it is a must have if you live in a colder climate and your dog spends time outdoors. the only downside is the cord isn't very long, so you need to keep it close to a power outlet
