However, the salt water will cause the fire pit to rust because this fire pit is made of steel and not aluminum. If stored properly and covered in the months not being used, it will stay rust free longer than if left outside all year round and exposed to the salt/water/air.

Q: Is it safe to use this device inside a pergola? How hot does it get at the bottom, i.e. is it a fire hazard for the wooden floor or the wooden ceiling even if the sides are ventilated?

A: Thank you for your question. Use inside of a pergola should be fine with proper ventilation and so long as the unit is not left unattended. Heat will escape from the top of the unit rather than the bottom and sides.

Q: We purchased this fire pit and it does not always ignite. We have plenty of gas in the tank, the lava rocks are dry, and we have moved the lava rocks away from the center to ignite. Still doesn't work. Any ideas?

Purchased in may and tried to use it in September, but noticed the provided cover had stuck which peeled off the paint. Also noticed that there was a crack all the way through the top. This was after 2 uses and being stored with the provided cover on it. Missed the return window, so only option is to take it to the dump. Save your money!

The firepit look is very nice however the glass that comes with it is just that. Very delicate dangerous chards of glass which caused injury. Not the typical thick jeweled glass that comes in Firepits. Beware . Im afraid during bad weather that these pieces of glass will blow about the patio. Attempted to get help with online guest relations but no results. Too dangerous to try to get glass out in order to repackage & return

I am on my second fire pit from this company and I will say that they don’t last. The company is very difficult to get a hold of also. It’s more convenient to spend a little bit more for better quality. They look great but break easily.

We love this fire pit! It looks and works great for the price! We Have only used the cover a handful of times and we have had to put weights on it to keep it on

Well the fire pit is nice, however, the cover is like a piece of tissue paper. Had the fire pit for one day and the cover is torn and has holes all over it. I guess a little wind does not work well with this cover.

We just received this and have used it a couple of times. It assembled easily and works great! Although in the description it says it is brown, I would definitely say it is closer to black then brown.

This took about 45ish minutes to put together, which wasn't too bad. I've only had it for a few days, but so far so good. Puts off some nice heat and is super easy to use. The in-table storage of the tank makes for a nice, clean look. The cover that it comes with does look flimsy and I doubt it will last long.
