I love period underwear, but HATED these

Would give zero stars if that was an option. Like wearing a diaper, super uncomfortable and the absorbent pad isn’t large enough. Go with RevolCares (most comfortable but a little expensive), Jockey (must be worn with a cup or tampon) or even Saalt if you don’t have any other options.
I used to have 3 other pairs of these kind of underwear from another brand. But these are not just very absorbent on moderate nights they also don't trap odor.

Uncomfortable & Disappointed; Not for Sensory Issues

I was hopeful for these after trying other brands for menstrual underwear; I loved my Unders by Proof brand period (seamless) underwear (stretchy and comfy, easy to wash/dry) and I like the Thinx (thicker and cotton; has seems but comfy) for my heavy days (but they're more expensive (and comfortable)). After trying these Hanes (absorbent) underwear for my backup period underwear, I immediately had to take them off from discomfort. The seams are scratchy and irritating for the skin (around the top opening and leg holes), and this is especially not conducive with moisture (causes more irritation). I tend to have sensory issues with tags and stitching (which I can often try to ignore), but the discomfort from these Hanes period briefs is just too irritating to ignore. I've attempted over the last several months to "break them in", but I personally can't tolerate the irritation from these. If you have sensory issues and/or want less visible underwear lines, then try Unders by Proof period underwear. If you need more absorbency/protection, try the heavier flow Thinx.

These are really great for a light period. I was too afraid to test out a regular “flow”, but if you have a heavy period that tends to leak these are so much better than wearing a pad.

Wanted to really like these but they came up really high on me. They also have thick stitching on the back that irritated my skin. However I haven’t ever leaked with them but won’t be buying more.

They leak through fast. You'd think there would be a waterproof lining but no.

These worked well for what I use them for. During my period, I wear a reusable menstrual disc and typically wear a pantiliner to catch any leakage from my heavy flow. I wanted to switch to a period panty to wear as a backup and these caught the leakage with no issue, but I'm not sure how well they would have worked on their own. Additionally, although they fit me fine, there is a very unflattering line across the butt that is visible through clothing. So I wouldn't recommend wearing these with leggings or tight jeans. However at this price point, they're not a bad quality for wearing around the house or underneath a dress.

These are the worst underwear I’ve ever worn. The material is scratchy and uncomfortable, they are extremely unattractive, and the seam only goes halfway up the back, causing it to feel scratchy and bulky. It almost feels as I imagine a diaper would feel. A pad would be more comfortable

I bought these because I've wanted to ditch the back up pads I wear every month. I used them for 2 months no issues other that they're not the most comfortable and feel a little like a diaper. Well month 3 I leaked out my tampon and it went right through these into my pants. It wasn't even that much.

These are a great affordable option for beginning and end of cycle or light bladder leaks. Absorbency is minimal though. The padded area is actually better than I expected, but they run more than a size smaller than the standard unpadded version of underwear from Hanes. For what they are good for, they are just fine such as overnight, non-heavy days.
