Lands' End Women's Sport Knit High Rise Pants

These pants are SO comfortable. VERY loose -- not nearly as night as what is shown in the photos, and not very stylish, so I don't think most fashionable women would like them at all -- but for seniors (I am 71) who just want to be comfortable and have an easy pull-on pant, these are WOMDERFUL. However, they did shrink about 2" in length after washing -- why do so many Lands End pants do that now? -- but I appreciated it as they were just a little long. They also do stretch out a bit during the day. So, to repeat, these are NOT fashionable or stylish pants, but they certainly are comfortable!

I bought these for my mom--she usually wears a Size L so that is what I got, though knowing she would need to hem them as I was not sure if a petite would be too short in the rise. We hoped they would shrink a bit but they did not, so they are a bit too baggy. she does like the wide, soft waistband and the quality of the fabric. I may order a petite next time.

I bought these and the star fish mid rise straight leg pants hoping one or the other would be good for travel. I don’t know if there’s a quality control issue but the ones I received though called “high rise” are very low rise, lower than the star fish mid rise. Low rise is not what I wanted and did not look good on me.

I kept these pants because they are so comfortable and the fabric is really soft. But sit down once and the knees bag out horribly. I mean the whole day you walk around with these huge big knee lumps in the front. So I will not wear them away from the house, but I will wear them around the house. I know better not to buy pants that don’t have some spandex. They also run slightly large.

I expect that others will like these pants, especially if they don't have a waist size that keeps the pocket from gapping. On me, the pocket placket won't lie flat. I even sewed up the right one on one pair. I also have to stretch out the pants legs before they dry completely to keep them from shrinking. I love the material though; it's very soft.

I have purchased about six pairs of these pants in size medium tall every year, for years. In the last few years, I have found the sizing to be very inconsistent. Sometimes the fit is great. Other times, the pants seem to be several sizes too large. I'm going to start sending the oversized ones back. Very frustrating.

These are my go to pants for comfort and style on casual days. These replaced all my sweatpants. These are very generous size wise, so order down if you want them more fitted.

I was so delighted with these pants when I first received them--lovely soft fabric, easy care, perfect fit. I've washed them 3 times now exactly according to the instructions and each time they have shrunk quite a bit. Now they're kind of unwearable. Extremely short cool weather pants? Makes no sense.

I live in sport knit pull on pants;always ultimately comfortable. However, over the years the slit pocket size has dramatically decreased, to the point that now it is difficult for a smart phone to fit comfortably in the pockets, which is where it needs to fit. Please consider enlarging these pockets back to their original size a few years ago. Knit fabric also is more coarse....

I was really pleased with these pants but they shrank a good bit - in length and width so I would be aware if you buy them - don't put them in the dryer

Very comfortable and soft pants. I usually wear a size 14. These were very baggy on me especially in the hips. After washing they shrank in the length and became a tad too short. I still like them for wearing at home.

These pants are just fine but I really wish they had a plain dark brown. This color is not my favorite but it's what they had the day I needed to replace my old pair of brown pants. Not sure what they call this color, chestnut or cinnamon, but it's pretty orange.

I've purchased this same pant in black before however this recent purchase disappointed me because of the fabric. The fabric did not hold it's shape as well as previous pants I have purchased.

This is my third order of these pants and I used to love them. I noticed that my recent set of pants are a different material - thinner, flimsier, cheaper-feeling. They don't stand up the way the others did, and they do not seem to be the same fabric content, which is very unfortunate. Not sure I'll try again, which makes me sad.

Versitile and comfortable knit pants that can be worn for shopping, home, and even exercise class. I really like the pockets that are deep and unobtrusive. A good buy.

Love these pants, I have them in like 5 different colors now. Very comfortable and love that they have pockets. They can be casual or dressy depending what you pair them with. I just wish they didn’t relax and stretch out a bit throughout the day, but not a deal breaker for me.

The 30" inseam is shorter that other styles in regular. They hit just abovt the ankle. They are too long for crops. I have to either hem or roll the cuffs to crop or capri length to use them all. Too baggy in the seat to get a larger size or tall fit. I miss the 5 pocket sport knit that was a better fabric and longer inseam -- closer to 31"

I bought these in navy and black. The black fit perfectly but the navy was not a good fit at all. They were cut differently- fuller thru the hips and thighs. I noticed the navy and black pants were from 2 different countries. I will be returning the navy.

Other reviewers said that these shrink, so I purchased the tall, as I like my pants to be long. These seem to be long AND large, and are very baggy. They are not flattering. This is disappointing as it is so difficult to find all cotton, or even mostly cotton knit pants.

This is my 3rd version of L.E. Women's Sport Knit Pants. I wore and loved them for decades in the 18XL Tall. As others have noted, these changed a few years back, I don't exactly remember when, maybe 2022-2023 (1) the waistband changed; (2) the fabric changed (3) the length was significantly shorter. I always washed these in the machine but hung them (never the dryer) and still, the newer version shrunk up and I couldn't wear them outside the house. Last month, I ordered again based on a review here that said the old pant was back! Sorry to say, the March 2025 version is an improvement on the 2022-2023 version, but it is not the original. The waistband and material are like the 2022-2023 version. Definitely thinner material than the original. The original looked and felt like cotton, this one feels silky smooth but more like a synthetic. On the plus side, they are LONG again. I am keeping them because of the length but I have doubts about how long this fabric will last.
