This book is an absolute waste of time. The characters are completely unrelatable and annoying. The side story with the "emails" throughout the book do nothing to add to the story and is a waste of space. Save your time and money and get a different book. The book description is absolutely NOTHING like what the book really is about.

What a thrilling story! I just could not put it down. The author of "The Woman in the Library," Sulari Gentill, was new to me but I know I will be reading her other books. I received this one from the publisher. Four college students previously unknown to each other meet in the library. All of a sudden, the scream of a woman! What to do? Where to go? Thus begins the story of these particular four students' efforts to learn who committed the murder. For it was indeed murder. And it seems that one of these four students must know more than he or she is saying. Maybe a lot more. "The Woman in the Library" is one of those books where you not only say, oh, I'll just read one more page. This is more like, oh, I'll just read one more chapter. I didn't guess who did it. Maybe you will.

Oh. My. Word. I LOVED ”The Woman in the Library”! I have read every one of Sulari Gentill’s Rowly Sinclair series and immediately picked this one up but was a little put off by the back cover copy. I’m glad I decided to read it anyway. A few things to note, this is not a one room mystery…we are not actually in the library long. It is a story within a story within a story, like a Russian doll, each layer is interesting in it’s own way but but if this kind of literary device isn’t your thing, it may not be the book for you. I, however, loved it! And would love to read the book the author in the story’s characters are writing! I so enjoyed the character’s within the author’s book and the way they developed whilst still being cast in doubt by the murder! I read the books straight through and, yes, I worked it out and was so chuffed with myself for it! A thrilling read indeed! If you love fantastic writing, a modern mystery and a book with a twist, this is for you! I highly recommend it, it’s a five out of five on the enJOYment scale!

Oh my gosh, Gemma and Jethro were everything I love in romance!!! Gemma’s story held me captive as it was slowly revealed. She was a strong heroine despite her fears and uncertainties. I loved that her love and determination to protect her daughter took precedence over everything else in her life. When her choices were between doing the smart thing or that thing that readers scream about, she held fast to her character and remained strong. Jethro was a unique hero with his accent and his special abilities. I adored him from the beginning. He was everything Gemma and Trudy needed and his interactions with the little girl were ovary exploding scenes that had me wishing for a Jethro of my own. He too had a background that was rising up to threaten him and what he was developing with Gemma and his protection of her and Trudy had me loving him all the more. The scorching chemistry between Gemma and Jethro was enough to singe the pages. This also had several moments of intense danger and drama. I was glued to the pages as one thing after another was revealed to this couple and they were left to deal with it. Of course, the Deep Ops characters were there to give backup and I gobbled each delicious bite of them as they supported this couple.
