This ended up being less 'solid' than we thought it would be and also lighter in color. I was thinking it would be a medium wood color but it's more like a slightly dark pine color. The piece it is hanging above in my house is dark brown so this looks a little out of place. It's not poorly made but it's not super well made either, just be aware of that. It is really more of a 'distressed' look and I don't think I was prepared for that but if that's your style it will probably be just fine. Again, it's not a heavy/substantial piece but it adds some character.

Love this mirror! Goes beautifully with my farmhouse decor. It is a great addition to my entryway and was easy to hang. The distressed finish is very unique and overall it is well made. The shelf is narrow so you are a bit limited on what you can display on it.
