I ended up returning the skirt, but not because it didn't fit, or because I didn't like it. I simply decided that I'd rather have more coverage as I'm over 60. But it fit well, was attractive and I would recommend it.

I bought these to go with the coordinating top, both the same color name, but it does not match at all. I cannot return it as I was so excited when they arrived, I took off the tags and put them on to jump in the pool with the top and saw they were 2 different colors, completely noticeable. My fault for not checking first, but so disappointed.

The length in front is fine and flattering, but if I wanted to show my bum, I wouldn't be buying a swim skirt! I'd just go ahead and wear a bikini bottom. Why on earth can't Lands End do a swim skirt with a bit more length on the back side to accommodate the fact that our bum sticks out more than our front side, and therefore needs more fabric? One positive is that this style has more comfortable leg openings than the longer skirt. Seems like I'm trying every possible style this year to find a comfortable swim skirt to match the top I bought. Sigh.

Land’s End, what has happened to your quality?? I have been purchasing Land’s End mini swim skirts for at least 10 years, and over the past 2-3 years they are just not the same. Quality has gone way downhill. The swimsuit fabric feels much cheaper, and now has a weird shine to it. They look and feel exactly like swim bottoms I could find at a big box store, not the soft, high-quality, long lasting fabric Land’s End used to use. They have also drastically changed the fit. I ordered my usual size, but what I received was a frumpy, billowy swim skirt. It is no longer sleek & cute, with the little slit it used to have on one side! In addition, the waist comes up much higher and does not lay in a flattering spot (literally bisects my belly button). Higher would be fine. Lower would be great! But where it falls is not good at all. Lastly, they have changed the length. I would no longer consider this “mini”, I would consider this a long swim skirt. Land’s End, please go back to your old version! It was perfect!
