The stretchy LYCRA Xtra Life spandex used for these swim shorts lasts up to 10 times longer than ordinary spandex and resists damage from sunblock, sweat and chlorine. Hand wash.

The seam runs extremely long. There is a small triangular gusset, but it begins well past where I need it. It was embarrassing to get out of the pool. The shorts also ran large and stretched in the water—not good for water aerobics. I measured and ordered accordingly. I'm 5'1", weigh 200 lbs and got a size 20. I need at least one size smaller.

Good- Comfy and have pockets, although not sure what those are for in the water. Bad- Fades terribly! Have had these for 2 months, I do water aerobics twice a week, I make sure to rinse very well and hang dry.

Blue and purple fade terribly, I followed completely the washing by hand instructions. Too expensive for this to happen. Fabric is Not compromised just the color. Won’t wear in public. Waste of money. I did buy more black because they held the color. I swim 5 days a week.

I wear these swim/bike shorts with my tugless tank suits and as underwear with my summer dresses. They are super comfy and I’ve probably bought 10 of them over the years. They last a long time but eventually fade and stretch out.

These shorts are the best. I wear them for swim bottoms and also under dresses. Just the right amount of hold without cutting off your circulation. High rise waist does not ride down and legs do not ride up. Very comfortable.
